I swapped out my old plastic castors for these and the difference is night and day. Installation took minutes, pull the old ones out, click these in, done. Now my chair glides silently and effortlessly across my wooden floor with zero scratches or marks. They feel solid, look sleek, and have completely eliminated the need for a bulky floor mat. I was actually looking for ways to increase the height of my 'gaming chair' to be a 'work chair' as well, I'm 6'2 and my main options were to either buy a new chair, or change the gas cylinder. I found my gas cylinder was impossible to remove despite all the videos that show how to knock it out. No go. Then I saw new casters - already mine were coated in dirt and didn't roll well at all. Saw these - and noticed the height of the wheels, another inch on the diameter. So here we are, new wheels installed in seconds. They have increased the height of the chair enough to be viable, the extra size on these makes a big difference. The only problem now, is they are SO SMOOTH rolling - I know my office floor has the slightest angle towards one wall - literally my chair just rolls (silently) - as if no resistance. I can deal with that, but I had to write a review to say just how well these castors are made - large, silent, smooth. Not their fault I don't have a completely level floor! Very happy, even though having to pull myself back to the desk occasionally! If you want perfect castors, these are possibly what you want.

Recently got the carpets replaced and found with the extra plushness - even though it's only a low-medium height pile, my old office chair wheels (steelcase think v2) would literally not budge at all. Bought these to replace, I thought they would be bigger than they are - though they are bigger than the old wheels, and they move much smoother, which is a big upgrade considering I couldn't move the chair at all before, though it's not totally smooth and you usually get a bit of friction/stuck feeling that you have to push through a bit, I think this is actually due to the wheels rotating as you move the chair where some of the wheels don't rotate fully into the right direction and then act as brakes since they're sideways. Some of them went on smoothly and easily and 3 of them I had to hammer them in with a mallet, but ultimately they fit and I'm happy with the mobility of them.

The delivery and packaging were excellent and product arrived within 24hours and pristine. The wheels are a replacement for my old plastic ones and work exactly as described - they fit in less than five minutes (I bought standard 11mm version). They run smooth and quiet over my wooden floor with no scratching whatsoever. Correction, they don't "run" - they glide and quietly. I have taken up the old piece of carpet I had down to protect the wood floor and thrown it out forever. Very pleased with these. I would buy again (but hopefully I won't need to ) and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for replacement wheels for their office chair.

Writing this within minutes of having received the item... I feel like I have a new chair! My Herman Miller Mirra (Mark I) feels like it has got a new lease of life! I was about to throw it away as the wheels had started disintegrating and I thought it surely must be time to buy a new chair. However, due to a back injury I need a proper chair and buying an equivalent chair was out of my budget. I decided to try these out and I am typing this with a big smile on my face! The chair rolls quieter, smoother and rides higher (a big complaint I had with the Mirra was it was just a touch too low for me). Granted, it is early days, but this has got to be one of the best purchases I have made on Amazon!

I bought these to upgrade my office chair. It has wheels that stick at every occasion and are sluggish to turn. These are like dancing on ice. They are easy to change, pull the old ones off, push these on till they click. I am using these on a studded mat on to of carpet and they are almost too good. The slightest push and they are off across the mat, just like ice skating. That is not a complaint, I go between a computer desk and a writing desk in my home office and these make moving between them a joy rather than the leg ache the old ones gave me. The Rolls Royce of castors, I recommend these wholeheartedly.

Ordered these wheels to upgrade my Haworth Zody chair which was getting stuck on the rug and making terrible noise on hard floors. They arrived today and I installed them immediately - the difference is night and day! These wheels are incredibly smooth and virtually silent on both surfaces. The upgrade was even better than I anticipated. The chair now glides effortlessly across carpet without getting stuck, and there's no more annoying rolling noise on hardwood. Installation was straightforward and they feel very well-made. I'm already considering getting another set for my wife’s office chair. Highly recommended for anyone dealing with noisy or stuck chair wheels!

Excellent replacement wheels for my office chair saving the replacement of an otherwise perfectly good chair. Very smooth action and simply fitted the spindle having levered off the old wheels. Slight taller than the standard wheels it replaced but a good thing for my taller framt
