BEST low carb "pasta." 14oz can, THREE net carbs!!!
I have bought this 6 pack 4x already. The "noodles" are very flexible, yet crunchy kind of like a water chestnut and has a bit of a nutty flavor plain. I open the can, put it in a pot, turn the burner on high, then immediately chop up bell peppers, onion and jalapeno, adding it to the pot & stirring as I go along. I then take several seconds to clean up the cutting board or plate, stir for another 2 minutes or so, drain out as much water as I can then pour the remaining on to a plate with paper towels. I wrap it up to get rid of the excess water, put it back in the pot, add alfredo sauce and pepper, stir for another 2 minutes and I'm done. Quick, Easy, LOW CARB and by far the best low carb pasta/ pasta like "noodles" I have had. I eat very healthy and have tried many, many "healthy" substitution for the real deal and this is by far the best. It does NOT taste like pasta, but for a LOW CARB replacement, it is AWESOME!!! I'll most likely buy several plus more packs of 6 before I get tired of this. It is filling, tasty and if low carb is your thing, it is well worth trying out and this 6 pack seems to be the cheapest, at least that I have found on Amazon.I'll be adding grilled chicken or shrimp to it next time.

Great alternative to pasta noodles
I’m watching my caloric and carb intake, so the idea of replacing pasta noodles with a super low cal low carb alternative was enticing. I also like hearts of palm so I was excited to try these canned veggie noodles. I read previous reviews and decided, even though I love hearts of palm, to drain and boil the noodles. I drained them and boiled them for about 5 minutes, then drained them again, put them back in the pan and added my sauce.Overall, I was pleased with the results. They obviously didn’t taste like pasta noodles, but they also didn’t taste like hearts of palm. They really didn’t taste like anything but the sauce. Which was perfect. I had a very filling low carb low cal dinner.

a new favorite food
I just learned about these type of noodles (palm) from a group I belong to online. I searched this was comparable to what others were talking about , however offered a better price per unit. so I decided to try them... I was absolutely surprised at how good these are. I guess it makes sense since hearts of palm is fairly bland and takes on the flavor of what it is prepared with (similar to tofu in that regard IMO)... lid comes off easily, and directions are simple.after briefly draining them sautéed them with garlic , shallots, butter and a fresh tomato... was perfect. These will be an easy substitute for my gluten free pasta and enable me to switch more towards a keto diet (albeit dirty keto) and it would also be considered clean food item since it is from a veg... no more ruining a diet attempt because I'm craving giant bowl of pasta, nor having to try and best figure out how to make my own noodles. the convenience alone makes it worth it really.

Hearts of palm pasta is delicious
Let’s be clear, it does not taste like semolina / flour based pasta. It tastes like hearts of palm. Understanding that, it is a great substitute for my spaghetti with sauce bakes. When I want to pig out and not spike my sugar (diabetic) I use this with my favorite sauce and bake it together (Alfredo, vodka, or red sauce) and top with some cheese (vegan or not) and it’s comes out delicious (of course I use spices too) and quick, like 30 min in the oven. That’s just my experience… I’m sure you can get creative with it too. Just make sure to strain and rinse it before adding to your dish.

Zero carb, hard to tell from real pasta in sauce!
On our low carb, low cal diet, we really miss pasta. Came across this Hearts of Palm pasta, and thought we would give it a try. Wonderful. Good mouth feel and imperceptible from actual pasta, as long as it's in a sauce. Tonight we had chicken Alfredo with this pasta. Tomorrow I'm making sausage with marinara. We've tried other low carb pasta, and some taste fishy and smell nasty. This stuff is great. We are sold!

Very Disappointed. Rough and choppy noodle mush!
The media could not be loaded. The pictures on the can and in the ad make it look like nicely cut linguine pasta - flat, wide, and smooth. What comes in the can is square noodles with rough edges. If they were all consistent it would be one thing, but they aren't. The noodles range from a couple of inches long to literally centimeter chunks. There is so much mush in the can it looks gross. I bought the 6-can pack and ALL of them were the same. No recourse. Stick with Palmini.

This is NOT pasta!
The flavor is fine , but if you are looking for the texture of a noodle, this isn’t it. It is basically the vegetable shredded to the shape of a noodle. Healthy, filling, mild flavor but I wouldn’t use it for spaghetti.

Great value for a great product
I had to go on a low carb diet for health reasons, and had to give up one of my fave foods: wheat pasta. This product is the PERFECT substitution for pasta. It's very easy to prepare, has lots of fiber, and you can use it with your fave pasta sauces and its declious! Also, this is a great price for this item. Will be ordering again.
