I did a lot of shopping for projector screens, and thought this would be a good one since it had decent reviews and didn’t cost a fortune. Unfortunately, it didn’t work properly from the get-go and has been impossible to get any Customer Support in resolving the issue.I had it professionally installed and the installer did everything possible to get it to work properly, even trying to work with the company over in China to fix multiple problems. The installer thinks they sent me a used product and it had missing parts which I had to get resent from China and wait longer. But that was a ‘small’ issue. Unfortunately, the screen did not go down all the way, and when it went up, it wouldn’t stop and kept spinning around in the housing. No adjustments fixed it. Eventually, it just got tangled and stuck like in the picture.The company is in China, and only work Chinese business hours so you can never actually talk to somebody at a time that makes sense. Bottom line is after a bunch of frustration and wasted time, I’m still waiting for them to fix the problem or honor the warranty. So far, I’m out a bunch of money and have a useless gray sheet tangled on my wall.I’ll update the review with how this ends but super discouraged and would not buy this again.

Screen arrived with careful packaging including corner protection and thick foam wraps. Took awhile to unwrap but product came out flawlessly protected. Very impressive. Put the screen up and everything operates normally. ALR screen is flat and runs up and down smoothly. Now we can watch projected videos during day time which we could never do it before. Amazing technology at an unbeatable value. We thought we have given up on ALR screens that could retract but here it is. Absolutely amazing and a very happy customer here.

This is not just a Rage rant I’m super bummed Motorized is an grey color is cool but I’ve had 2 of these screens first on had the wrinkles and fold lines in the screen so I was sent another screen an had to repack an return the first one all pictures included second screen took a few weeks to make for me when i got the screen all of these screws ran on a angle an striped this hold the screen together an rocks in the screen caused a ton a dents their solution to the problem was $30. My screen still has bold lines in it. It has a bunch of dents in it from rocks. The screws that hold it together are stripped so it’s about to fall apart and they just want to give me $30 this is a 500-700 Dollar screen, including shipping depending on where you buy it, you’d expect a higher quality than that my $80 white pull down screen way higher quality then this screen

My screen arrived with some minor damage to the shipping box. Didn't look too severe, but upon opening there was some slight damage to the cable on one end of the screen. Not a huge issue, but perhaps a bit more padding around the ends would have helped.The one thing that really bothered me and the reason this isn't getting 5 stars, was the damage incurred to the screen itself. The weighted crossbar at the bottom was secured with brackets to prevent it from flopping around during shipping. However, they did not prevent it from sliding horizontally along the bottom of the screen (see attached photos). Perhaps a shipping screw or two to secure it directly to the case would have been helpful.This, of course, crushed one corner of the screen and seems to have left a few wrinkles along the bottom, easy enough to fix, but the wrinkles have yet to come out. Thankfully, they aren't visible in the projected image.All said and done, the screen works satisfactorily. I'm usisng an ultra short throw projector and the screen is plenty flat enough for a clear picture.

Screen has a visible horizontal line in the image area. Seller states this is inherent to the product and will not replace outside warranty. Be aware this may occur.

This is a great screen and easy to install. Great pixels and color!

ProsSetup was super simple and they give several options (ceiling, wall, corner) and they have a lot of different variations (housing cover, screen material, size, etc). This was actually great because we originally purchased and installed the white screen (which I dont recommend because it limits the aspect rations that you can watch). We decided we didn't like it and ordered the ALR version and they were quite accommodating in the replacement item. The seller also cares a lot and checked in to make sure we were happy with the purchase. The motor and remote are dependable and it comes down pretty quickly.The screen is nice and flat and works with our short throw projector. I'm not sure how much light is actually being rejected or how it compares to other materials but it does give deeper colors than just a basic white projector.Cons- The white screen version had a long lasting bad smell, opt for the ALR version!- Since there's so many variations, finding the right screen for us was a little challenging- The screen had bunched up a little bit in the bottom right corner because the bottom bar had shifted too much. It was easy enough to adjust with a screwdriver.

The screen is full of ripples down both sides, no help at all from the seller and I'm expected to pay extra for a replacement screen. does not look like they will come good on their product therefore I just waisted over $800.00 dollars I do like the picture quality but the ripples take away from the experienceSo frustratedPat

The 120" screen arrived very well packaged. So thumbs up to the packing and shipping department!After installing this screen in my living room, I just can say that the overall quality is good, but not perfect from defects related from a quality control perspective:- On the top left side of the screen, someone at the factory may have forgotten to pass the cord thru one of the tension tabs, but that doesn't affect the flatness of the screen on that area. This is something that can't be fixed without disassembling the bottom metal rod. I haven't tried to fix it yet.- There is some waviness on the bottom right corner of the screen. The bottom metal rod was pushed too much against the left side, so I had to carefully slide it back a centimetre to the right to make it perfectly balanced. The waviness doesn't affect my viewing experience since the projected image on the screen doesn't cover the whole surface to notice the flaw, so this is not really an issue for me, but for those looking for a perfectly flat surface, just be aware that you could encounter that problem.Apart from that, the installation was very easy, and the motor runs quiet, but it is not whisper quiet. The included RF remote control works very well, and so does the manual control box. I haven't test the USB trigger accessory.I use this screen with an Epson 5030UB and the image quality is really good. You'll have to choose the right brightness viewing mode on the projector for an optimal experience.I still have to test the advertised "8K/3D/UHD" capabilities. I have 3D glasses and will soon test the screen with a 3D movie. Since my projector is capable of just FHD resolution I can't test "4K" or even "8K" images, so I'll try to get another projector to verify that.Overall, I think the product is good and works as intended. It is a good alternative to more expensive screens.Only time will tell if it will last and if it was worth the money paid.UPDATE: I have recently tested the screen with a 3D Bluray movie. It looks amazing! So, the screen does not introduce any artifacts or affects the quality of the 3D experience. Perhaps the gain should be 1.0 instead of 0.8 for brighter images, but with my Epson 5030UB projector, the image quality and brightness were really good, better than expected.

I usually don’t do long reviews but, in this case, I feel like I need to comment on a few things.The good:1. The screen housing is solid. It is a well-made screen and not too loud when going up and down. Seems very smooth.2. The dark screen material is very nice. The picture is quite vivid and the darks are deep even with ambient light present. I had full LEDs and pot lights on in the basement and the picture quality was excellent.3. Packaging was adequate to prevent shipping damage and it arrived completely undamaged and in working order.The bad:1. The dimensions given in the product description are inaccurate. I was expecting a screen with a depth of 3.43 inches. I had looked far and wide for a screen with a depth that was as minimal as this. We had custom made a housing with crown moulding that would fit this depth and when the screen arrived, the depth was not 3.43 inches as stated. It was closer to 3.8 inches. We ended up ripping out all of our moulding and cutting back the ceiling an additional inch (redoing the construction) so that the screen could fit. This is simply unacceptable and could have been avoided if the item description was accurate. Extremely disappointed.2. We had centered the unit inside a crown moulding housing above an electric wall fireplace. However, when the screen came down out of the unit, it was shifted by several inches to one side. Although the unit was aligned within our housing and the wall, the screen itself inside the unit was not aligned with its own casing (and therefore our wall). We had to move the whole thing to our left by several inches just so that the screen would unwind in the center of our intended space. Not happy about this as now I’m forced to build something to hide the underside of our moulding so that the casing is not exposed as the whole casing is not centered with our room. Not good.3. Wrinkles and waves. They disappear when the screen is completely down but sometimes we have situations where we only need 2/3 of the screen down. When only 2/3 of the screen is down, there are visible waves on the viewing surface. Bad.Had I known these negatives before I bought the screen, I would not have purchased it. The only reason I didn’t return the screen was that we were under timing constraints to finish our project and we ended up doing whatever it took to make it work for us.Overall I’m disappointed with the experience and would not recommend this product.

I bought the ALR 120 inch screen. So far so good. I’ve had it for a few months now.It is a bit dimmer than I expected even with my 4000 lumen projector projecting at 120inches. At night the eyes adjust and it’s fine.The positives is even with a lot of ambient light, the screen is still the same brightness (doesn’t lose brightness due to ambient light). That’s definitely a plus as I am in a room with 4 walls of which 2 walls are completely windows from ceiling to floor. So tons of light pours in from outside even with the blinds down.Installation was easy. Just hang it up and secure it depending on the walls/ceilings you have. The remote and motor work well. The tension works well, keeps the screen flat.There are some roll marks (due to the screen rolling up) that can appear at some angles, but it’s not a big deal especially at the price this screen is sold at (half the market rate)Overall I am very pleased with the screen and I would recommend it to others!
