what do the flashing lights mean on the 100 amp battery protect there is a blue one and a small one in the little window thanks anyone

The blue one is to confirm the Bluetooth (blue light flashes purple when there is an error)

Can this be used with Epever charge controller

This unit is just a Load protecter (ie when power is drawn from the battery) it is not designed as a charge protector

does this have an audible alarm built in or can you buy one as an extra ? thanks anyone

The 100A Smart BatteryProtect does not have an audible alarm however it does have an alarm output relay which can be used to trigger an audial device.

does anyone know if this gets hot when it is in use thanks

The BatteryProtect should not be getting hot. If yours is getting hot it maybe a case that there is a two-way current going through the protect. If you would like to send us a n image of your installation showing your wiring we can take a look for you just to be sure.
