Absolutely LOVE this pot
I bought this tea pot to make pine needle tea in (I mean look at the pattern, it was a no brainer) and fell head over heels in love with it as soon as I took it out of the box! The color, the quality and the pattern on the outside of the pot. 😍 There's not a woman that's come over to the cabin that I've made tea for that hasn't complimented this pot. Trust me, it's worth the price and you WILL score points for good taste when people set their eyes upon it.

Stunning - a must for any teapot collector
I have several tetsubin teapots but this is my first one by Iwachu. I love the pine needle in green; it is so harmonious. The pine cone on the lid is exquisite. My other testubin teapots have a hole in the lid for steam to escape; this teapot does not. It has an indentation on the inside of the lid wherein steam can escape. I love that touch. The glazed interior is of a much higher quality of my other tetsubin teapots as well. I will be the on the lookout for more items from this company.

exquisite spot for various tea
I love this spot and highly recommend it to the folks enjoy the flavor of various "green" color tea. I enjoyed the super smooth and light sweet taste as typical japanese tetsubin brewers deliver. The brew time could be at least 2 minutes, and no more than 4 minutes for the first round. You may want to wait for the tea cooled down to around 60 C which tastes the best for me, though it could vary by individual. Please do dry the surface for sure. Tea residual etches gradually overnight and the green antique color will fade

Beautiful teapot.
This is the perfect teapot for tea for one. I make up a little pot of jasmine tea and sit in the garden to drink it. I love anything that suggests woodlands. The pine needles and pinecone finial that decorate this piece bring to mind the mats of needles that blanket the forest floor.Genuine Iwachu from Japan is quite a bit more expensive than brands made elsewhere. The difference in quality is evident in the smoothness of the enamel inside, the finish and the crispness of the details on the outside of the pot. This is beautiful little teapot.
