This is the first book I have found that goes into more of the background details of espresso. Most books or materials only go into growing and roasting, this book goes a step further by going into the the science of the coffee bean itself, not just in relation to roasting. It includes sections on Etymology, biology, social aspects, Health and pharmacology, economics and even has a coffee timeline.Once ordered i received it within 2 weeks - about a month before the estimated delivery time - as I live in another country. However, the copy I received had two copies of page 19 and was missing page 17 altogether.If you are a serious barista, then this is the book for you.
