It has taken me some to get to use this fabulous gadget being I have other matters to put in place beforehand, but once I got it, I really had it! My issue was with the silver like piece which must be laid on top with the groove bottomside. The imaged instructions weren't showing this to me with clarity and I kept having issues. It's called "user error"! The other matter I had was with the hammer which is cute for other matters but not for me with this so I saw using a heavier one was perfect.Due to what I'm working on, this turned out to be the perfect tool and a gift to me. I'm grateful for the purchase.

Nice variety and amounts for the price. I have not use it yet as the project needs to be finished first but I gave I gave it 5 stars as it appears to be easy to use from the instructions.

I found it very difficult to set the eyelets had my husband try and he was unable to get them to set right either. After about 15 minutes of pounding on it we just said forget it and gave up. The color was wearing off the eyelets and they where still not set

I bought this because we bought a house in Wyoming, and my cowboy hat needed a chin string to keep it from flying off. Taking my hat to the shop to install grommets would have cost me $20 or more, so I took the leap and bought this. The grommets went in perfect, and are holding beautifully. The surrounding felt hat shows no signs of distress, and the grommets look factory-installed. Love it!!!

purchased for a friend. She has all ready used the kit to make leather earrings. its very easy to use. the shaft on the gromets are short so you can't really use them for thicker leather.
