Good quality. Sharp tips. Must have at home for many small tasks

These are average forceps. They are sturdy, made of stainless steel, and powder coated. However, the powder coating is either damaged or not done correctly because exposed metal can be seen in several places in the No. 5 forceps. The remaining forceps had no blemishes or gaps in the coating. I examined the tips under magnification. While satisfactory (i.e., the tips come together without leaving a gap), the metal tips are not quite symmetrical indicating poor quality in the process that draws the tips together. Overall, and for the money paid, these forceps are good for watchmakers or jewellers, but don't expect the quality of surgical forceps, e.g., a Dumont.
