I made a short cable extension and was able to get my intermediate cable hooked up. Amazon equalizer bar Amazon parking cable and these end stops. I had to get a dorman cable connector set at the local auto parts store day of, but I have enough cable and another stop to make a second one if this ever breaks. It was very solid feeling and I will use these again in the future for sure.

These appear to be a good product only the sizing is for the hole in the cable stop and not the size of the cable stop, did me no good,

The throttle cable for my old garden tractor is of design where you pull it out and twist it clockwise to lock in place to the RPM you desire. The plastic knob on the throttle cable stripped inside the plastic knob. I bought a replacement cable from the dealer but it wasn't no time and that knob stripped out. I was using a small pair of vice grips but that was too bulky. I cut the plastic knob off the cable end and installed one of these in its place. I had to drill the hole in the cable stop a little larger so it would fit over the throttle cable end but it works well and is very practical for my 50yr old garden tractor.

Good quality, but 1/8” stainless wire does not fit.

Here's some info that is not shown in the description:1. Fits a .090 solid cable (maybe bigger, but I am using the HELP55197 cable)2. No directions in the package, but make sure the little ball inside goes on TOP of the cable and under the screw).3. If I remember it has an 11mm hex on the body, and a 10mm hex on the clamping screw.4. Two pieces come in the package, so just throw the spare in the trucks glove box just incase.
