These are terrific flashlights, great battery life, very bright beam (especially for just 3 AA batteries) and they glow in the dark. I am baffled why no other manufacturer has figured out that since flashlights are used in the dark, that its only logical to have a flashlight you can find in the dark! Pelican products are professional grade, whether it is one of their justly famous cases or something eminently practical and high-performance like thes flashlights. Power outages are not unusual in our Montana mountains and it is great to not have to grope around in the dark to find your flashlights. We keep them in all our vehicles, around the house in key places, and always have them on our packing list for backpacking, camping or hiking. Everytime that I have given one as a gift, I always receive profound appreciation once the recipient has had time to appreciate how useful they are. 5+ stars in my book!

I love this flashlight I got 2 now. Its completely waterproof so you can take it swimming at night. The whole things glows in the dark so its easy to find. Battery life is really good. I know its not cheap but I still use the 1 I bought over 8 years ago and it looks like its been to war and back a few times. Definitely very durable.
