Hi there, that depends on the ohm's of the speakers your connecting, I use 14ga as my speakers can be set up as 4ohms or 6ohms, 16ga is good for 8ohm speakers which should be labeled on the back of the speaker.

The product came with a little card that said they don't buy reviews, and would like me - the purchaser - to write one.Well, I ordered cable, and I received... cable!It is precisely as I expected, very cable like.It meets the desired gauge and colour specs and came on a pretty sturdy reel, despite the genuinely competitive price.I have not conducted an electrical analysis nor have I checked I actually have 200ft of it but it feels like perfectly decent 14awg speaker cable to me.

Great wire for the price BUT (Amazon) warehouse employee picked the wrong colour :(

The only issue was that the warehouse sent the wrong color, likely due to overworked Amazon fulfilment staff so I don’t blame the seller for that... The wire itself works well. Like any wire, avoid bending or kinking it too much. It strips easily, and soldering performance is decent. :)
