Hold the pencils wonderfully, saves space, just the Ribbon is a tade to short. Update, I was tying them wrong as long as you separate the string and have one on one side and the other on the other side, it tis perfect, so I changed my review from a 3 to a 5.

Fits more than pencils.
I used these for a large collection of gel pens. Fit fine and make finding the color you want easy without strowing them all over. Pretty pattern as well.
