StarKist Tuna Creations Honey BBQ, 2.6oz Pouch, 1-Pack

Needed to improve my protein intake and I love tuna and these are great! So many different flavors and doesn’t require any additional condiments, I.e. mayonnaise or salad dressing and 15 grams of protein! Great taste selection, flavor, cost and easy to use! Value for your money is also a good reason to recommend them👍🏻💯

I will try to be as honest as possible because I depend on other people's reviews and feel I want to help the best I can: Item arrived exactly as described. Since discovering these TUNA packages, I've been eating them daily for my lunch. As someone who has gotten old, and someone who does not like the taste of Fish, I had few options when my doctor said I needed more fish oil in me due to my rising cholesterol levels. Recently I retired and discovered all the many tasty flavors of these TUNA FISH packets. They are the perfect size. I usually have about 12 different flavors here at home and will grab 2 different ones for my lunch. A year later and not only do I still enjoy them, but my cholesterol levels are back down to what they were in my younger years. I did not have to eat more fish that I do not like, nor did I have to take FISH OIL pills that I really do not like. This flavor in particular is very tasty and a nice change from the other less strong flavors that STARKIST makes. I Recommend. Good Luck.

I’m a big lover of tuna and I like not needing to prepare it I don’t have to do these pouches of tuna are great! I can take them with me when I need to go on a trip with crackers and fruit and vegetables and that’s a little meal for me. The convenience is what I look for in these pouches. The texture is awesome just squeeze some out add some lemon and you’re good to go! There’s a nice shelf life on the side of the package and they look for that for you before mailing it out to you.

Hubby liked this flavor well. Was iffy but was good.

Great taste, protein and convenience. Just be careful with how much you consume - I was having so much tuna (across brands) I got mercury poisoning. Stick with your doc’s recommendations.

There's just so much sauce inside. It's an effective way of masking the fishy smell and keeping the meat juicy, but there's a LOT of sauce inside. The tuna is still StarKist quality tender juicy fish, albeit with a lot of sugar. And again I mean a #lot# of sugar. I could probably add cornmeal batter to this and fry it like a fritter (there's an Idea) rather than just slap this on a bun or salad straight from the pouch (more of a pour). While the flavor isn't my favorite right out of the bag, it's got potential if you can cook with it (or rinse the excess syrup). The texture of the fish is still tender. And you really need something to absorb that syrup.

I am confined to bed much of the time. I keep these handy for a quick meal on crackers. They're not as messy as tuna packs that need to be drained. It's just enough for my lunch. Price is good.
