Extremely gentle and efficient!! Sooo perfect for those newborn nails that are so thin and pointy!We had the small baby emery boards and nail clippers but even the baby clippers were too big for newborn teeny fingers plus it’s scary cutting your brand new babies nails with clippers and the emery boards did nothing for the paper thin nails. This file stops when too much pressure is applied and has varying toughness for the grinders. I’ve tested it on my hand and have gotten her skin while filing but she doesn’t even budge, it’s so gentle.

My son hates when I use mail clippers on him. He wouldn’t let me cut his nails until I used this. He actually sits still and lets me file his nails with this. It’s safe on baby fingers nails and quick and easy to use

I’ve got this because every one I’ve seen loves electric files for their babies. I understand there’s probably a learning curve, but it took me WAY longer to file my baby’s nails than it does to clip them. He was just as wiggly, too, so it really defeated the purpose. Another note - I don’t understand how a flat circle would be able to file my kid’s nails without filing his skin, too… Maybe it depends on an individual child’s mail shape? Not sure.

I saw a recommendation for something like this a few days ago and stumbled across this version. It's half the price of the recommended one so I thought we'd give it a shot first and I was VERY pleasantly surprised.This works SO well. My son is fussy for manual filing and he doesn't like how nail files feel, but he didn't mind this at all and when the filing surface touched his skin he didn't react so I guess it doesn't hurt. 15/10 will recommend this product EVERY time.His nails have never been so short and now he gets to go mitten free 💛

It's somewhat easy to use when you get the hang of it. The different tips have worn out and I've had it less than a month.

Using an old-school nail clippers, I nicked my newborns finger. I felt horrible and ordered this nail trimmer. Its been one of the best purchases i could have made! Its so easy to use and my newborn dosnt mind at all! I trim her nails while shes wide awake! I cant recommend it enough!

I’ve used it twice so far and it’s been a lot easier for me trying to trim my daughters little fingernails. I used to wake up to my daughter having scratches all over her face from trimming them the night before with a regular Emory board. I think using this tool has led to her nails being more evenly done thus less face scratches.
