My go to Rice..

Excellent rice and price spot on
No doubt the BEST rice for pulao. Soak for 30 mins and wash a few times to remove starch. Then however many cups of rice you are using, just add 1 for water ratio. So 2 cups of rice = 3 cups water. Thank me later!excellent for biryani ,I find these have extra long grains than normal basmati rice ,You just need to soak them for a bit longer .Laila rice is exactly same as Himalya basmati rice, it just different packaging. As I have been using Himalya for long time, so I like trying using different brand too.. so I found that they both same.

Good rice with perfect taste. Long grains and they do not stick when boiled. taste litle nutty as basmati should.

Starchy rice
It’s really starchy and it turn mushy after you cook. no matter how much correction you do. Good for dhal dish but. Not recommended for biryani or any other dishes it sticks a lot

Great quality rice!
Great Quality! Deep flavour and and swells to perfection without being sticky! Definitely worth the extra few quid! You get what you pay for!
