I have had issues for the last five years with my cookware - especially stainless stovetop Dutch ovens and stock pots. ThisbAlpine Cuisine pot is very sturdy, and while it’s beautiful, after unboxing it, I was still skeptical. I ended up making a pot of creamy chicken and wild rice soup, and for once, I didn’t end up burning it!!! THIS IS HUGE! I’m always burning/scalding cream based soups due to uneven heating/cooking. I didn’t have that issue with this pan. The lid fits securely and I don’t think it’s going to end up warping over time like so many other stainless lids and pots I’ve had. I washed it by hand and it dried looking just like it did when I originally unboxed it. While I don’t know if the harsh detergents in dishwashers have any negative affects on stainless steel, I’m cautious and always wash by hand. Alpine does state that its dishwasher safe, so I wouldn’t hesitate to pop it in your dishwasher. This is a 3.6 quart stainless pot, and it’s the perfect size for smaller families or single folks. I’m going to order two more sizes because I’m so pleased with this one.

We ordered this pan to use in the kitchen at our local Senior Center. We all like it. One of our volunteers likes it so much she ordered one for herself!

Heavyweight triple bottom stainless steel and looks very well made. I wanted it to use on a glass top electric range. It boils water quickly and came out of the dishwasher looking like new! I’ve used it for pasta and a creamy chicken soup and it performs great! I saw the same size pot at a local discount store it was almost the same price but the one at the discount store was aluminum and the lid was wobbly so I could tell it was already warped before it was even used. I didn’t buy it and I got on Amazon and found this one. Glad I did.

I received this pot with 2 dents 1 dental is really huge and the point is there shouldn't even be 1 small denet I would want full return without paying to get it shipped to amazon. And also false advertisement there is no steam and moisture flow air holes as shown in the diagram
