These do discolor some in the kiln, so I use them more on ornaments than pretty jewelry, but I have used one whole box & have yet to have them cause me any problems or give out on me. Can be trimmed easily with wire snips, but their length is perfect to really be secure in the clay. These are infinitely cheaper than at the pottery supply store.

These worked well in my low fire kiln (around 1700-2000 degrees) I use them for key chains and such. They do get darker after the fire but they work just fine.
