Classic Indian Gauze Cotton Embroidered Plus Long Sleeve Sixties Blouse Top

Finally!… I ordered a shirt with embroidery. It wasn’t too tight! I’m a 38 DD and nothing seems to fit me except T-shirts. I love the color of the shirt. I hand washed it … Rolled it in a towel to dry it some and then threw it in the dryer for 15 minutes. Came out perfect, no wrinkles and barely any shrinkage. I was a little doubtful at first because this was a shirt coming from India. I know that things are smaller there and the cotton usually really shrinks a lot, so I am very pleased with the shirt!

These India tops are just what I have been looking for since the summer months. I love them because they are such easy tops to wear. You can dress them up or down. The material is light weight and the side slits allow for easy pull on comfort. I wear a 2x and ordered a 2x. The 1x would have fit also but I like the xtra room the 2x gives me and doesn't look overwhelming on my body. I've ordered the purple and tan and going to order the lime one. I wish I had seen this when all the colors were in stock. I would have ordered several more colors. My husband even told me how nice I looked in the tops. He said they were beautiful. :) Shipping was faster than I expected as well. Please try and bring back more colors as I will keep checking your website. Again thank you for these lovely tops.

The material is a smooth very light-weight see-through cotton. I was expecting the more opaque crinkled cotton more traditional Indian kurta shirt - my fault for not checking more thoroughly before ordering. The sizes seem to run larger than expected as well. So I returned this purchase and customer service was excellent for that process. However for someone who wants the smoother lighter weight material in a classic Indian style in pretty colors, this is a lovely shirt with fine embroidery, very well made and generously sized.

This top is perfect for our hot Texas summers. The quality is good. I'm always unsure about the sizing on tops from India. I normally wear a size 12 or 14 blouse. I ordered an xl and it fits well, but I like a loose fit. Next time I will order a size up for a more tunic look.

The color is vibrant. It is light weight-just right for these hot summer days. It fits well.

Love the style, sizing and color , but the fabric is woven cotton, not Gauze as stated in description. Glad I like both cotton fabrics!

The fabrics is extremely sheer. I washed it by hand immediately in cold water and hung it up to dry because the fabric had a very strong odor, so much so, that I didn't want to try it on. The fabric still smelled, so I tried washing it with a gentle shampoo that had a touch of mint in the shampoo, again in cold water and hanging it dry. Nothing helped get rid of the smell. The fabric shrunk considerably and all the embroidery is now puckered and the blouse will need considerable ironing. The sleeves are enormously long. There is embroidery at the end of the sleeve, so alerting the sleeve is impossible. I doubt I will get much wear from this blouse. The fabric is so thin that I don't expect it will last more than 2 or 3 wearings at best. I wish I had just returned it the minute I got it, but I did like the color and hoped I could make it work with a camisole. Nothing will help this blouse, unfortunately.

Lovely purple and holds up well after cold wash and line dry. I wish there were more colors available and large sizes. I typically wear small/medium and got this top in that size since large was sold out. It fits but I'd prefer a looser fit and flow for this style.
