I finally took the plunge and decided to shave my head, this was recommended in a couple places when researching the best methods for shaving a head. I'm glad I gave it a try, this thing is awesome. A couple minutes in the shower, smooth and clean shave. Holding it is a little weird, but I imagine once I use it a while I'll get used to it and that won't be an issue anymore.

As a first timer to shaving one’s head, this tool was very easy to use and efficient. The packaging comes with instructions, guidance, and even links to video tutorials. It can feel a little awkward at first to handle, but the motions are easy. Following the instructions, watching the tutorial video, it took only a few minutes to get comfortable and get the job done.

Key Points: Amazing shaver!! Closer, safer, easier shave in LESS than then half the time!! I normally always cut/nick myself at least once or twice on each leg with any other type of razor and I’ve used literally them allllll! High end and low end I always nick myself. But NOT with this one!! I’m telling you if you can hold a bar of soap and rub it on yourself you can use this razor!! Now the only things I don’t like about this shaver, I wish there was like some little like loop to put your fingers in or something like that would be awesome cause this thing is so fast and easy you can goin and then the thing sometimes just flys out of your hands lol! And I’m going to be honest…the blades do dull out really fast, it kinda shocked me! I got about 4 or 5 REALLY good shaves out of it and then started noticing a difference in the closeness of the shave and after about 10-12 shaves it was basically done in my personal opinion. So I am super bummed about that because with the price point being $22.99 for just this one razor, lets be honest that’s a bit high for it to not be coming with any replacement blades, and for one set of replacement blades it’s $16.99 so there’s that I guess lol. I did find and order the cheaper all plastic omni classic shaver I’m guessing it’s disposable? But that one was $11.99 so I’ll try it and let you guys know. All in all, I still LOVE this shaver and will have to bite the bullet when it comes to the cost. “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da life goes on”

This is by far one of the best bald shavers I have ever used. Oh My God it’s so fast and precise. I do wish it would be easier to use around the ears, but other than that, no complaints.

At giving you razor burn. For me I had to press down really hard for it to even work. Followed the directions that came with it and tried two different shaving creams. Honestly the idea and design is great but isn’t for me and I have really thin hair so I was upset that the product did not work.

If you have thick hair and are prone getting bumps and ingrown hairs, then I would caution you. I bought it twice and tried the product, at least 5 times, and each time after shaving, I would get severe bumps and ingrown hairs after about 3 days... I discovered the reason it's happening is because the razor blades are pulling my hair from the scalp while shaving. This is not the a unique problem with this particular product, literally EVERY SINGLE type of razor I have tried does this to me (including straight double edge razors). They pull and cause bumps when I go against the grain. Even when I shave in the shower, with conditioner. So I have to shave with only clippers from now on. If I didn't have the razor bump problems, I would probably only use this product to shave. It is indeed the fastest way to shave your head, but I was never able to get the shaving time anywhere close to 1 min though. I ended up buying two because I felt the blades on the first one were dull, but I'm not sure it would have helped me if they were any sharper. Still a good, decent product, in my opinion. Just not for me.

I purchased my Omishaver about a week ago. Frankly I was a bit nervous about using it since it looked so counterintuitive and very different from any other product on the market. However, I decided to give a go tonight and prepped myself. I followed the instructions by applied firm pressure, using even strokes three to four inched back and forth. Immediately It felt natural. The best part, I could easily tell what part of my head was clean and what part needed attention without using a mirror. In fact, coverage is so complete because your hand feels the scalp as you are shaving, so after my first pass, I could feel that I hardly missed any areas. Honestly, I was completely finished in about four minutes. Wonderful product and well worth the money.

Before I rant, I want to state that I followed the directions to the T. I was very careful in doing so. The very first time I used this product, it performed very well. I have curly hair, and my hair grows in lots of different ways- shaving my head in less than a minute is never going to be a possibility. I’m lucky to get it done in 10 minutes, which is actually longer than it takes my Mach 3. After just one use, this product stops cutting as well. After three uses, the blades are downright dull. As someone who shaves their head every two days, this is pretty unacceptable. Also, it’s such a small device, I have a hard time holding it. I have large hands, and can’t say I’d recommend it to anyone that has big hands.

This works really well! You do have to be careful about sideways motion, as that will result in a cut. Not sure why their shaving butter is not available in Canada, but it works with regular shaving cream, you just have to add some water as it dries off.

The razor came in today and I shaved my head in the shower after not having shaved for about a week and it managed perfectly. Super stoked with the product you move the razor similar to how you would scrub yourself with a soap bar and in combination with an anti-fog mirror in the shower makes it super easy.

El problema es que la garantia ha caducado y despues de limpiarlo hoy, quinta vez que lo utilizo, he visto que ha saltado un poco el baño que lleva en la parte metalica. Con ese pequeño desconchon, seguro que me cortaria si volviese a utilizarlo. Me he puesto en contacto con amazon y me reembolsan el dinero sin problema, ya he pedido otro porque funciona muy bien. El omnishaver funciona a la perfeccion, recomendable 100%. Yo tengo alguna berruguita en la calva y sin problema usando un buen acondicionador como leí por ahi. Apura bien aunque hacen falta un par de afeitados en mi caso. Recomendable. Como pega pondria que en amazon no hay estuche de viaje ni para el omnishaver ni para las cuchillas de recambio.

I have been wet shaving my head for the best part of 7-8 years and I had been using a Wilkinson Sword wet shave razor, predominantly made for face shaving. For 7-8 years each shave has taken me 10+ minutes to shave my head smooth. Many cuts have been made over that period, in all my head has been through some highs and lows with shaving. Then comes the wonder that is the Omnishaver. What a awesome piece of kit. From the very first shave to now on my 7th or 8th shave, with the same blades, I am.blown away, impressed by the speed in which this beauty shaves my head smooth and without cutting. It's a bit weird at first having to press firm whilst shaving. If I did that with my former razor I'd look like I'd stepped off the set of a slasher movie. The Omnishaver implores you to press and glide. It is amazing. I think I've got my shave down to 2 minutes so far. I do need to find a decent soap to use though. What I really like about the Omnishaver is that you can go over the same spot a number of times and no irritation. Plus the movable head deals with the lumps and bumps of my head with ease. Bald men of the world, throw away your electric shavers, do away with your Gillette and Wilkinson Sword wet razors. They will never beat this chief of head shavers from across the pond of the USA!!! Update 7th January 2020: I am now nearing my 50th head shave with this amazing tool and it is still shaving well and smooth. I cannot fault this product in any way. So good I got my wife one as part of her Christmas stocking. Her legs and pits are getting the best shave ever. She's chuffed with the little gem. Do not hesitate buying. It's well worth the money!!! Oh and message to Omnishave: if you need a badly for an advert, I'm your man!!!
