Life saver for an old dog
Want to add in April 2024, that 3 years later, with two (and now only one left, alas) big dogs going up and down every day, these treads are still fully attached, easy to clean and look good!I installed those for my big (115 lb) old dog, who is loosing ability to stay stable on hardwood stairs. I live in a 3 level house and have 6 stairs between levels. The dog started to slip and fall down from the stairs, so I bought these treads because they look awesome and fit with my house style and décor. I used double sided adhesive tape to attach them to the stairs. I wasn't disappointed. After who months of heavy usage by two big dogs who go up and down on the stairs all day long treads still look like new. I just vacuum them periodically. And the dog is not falling down anymore. Highly recommend!

Love it
The media could not be loaded. But these for my attic steps they work great. I did use double-sided carpet taped put them down on wooden steps. They don't move they don't slip the dogs run up and down the stairs and the carpets don't move.

Missing one.
Just put them on my steps. They look good, really like the texture of the carpet. But, there was suspose to be 7 treads and there was only 6 in package. Not really happy about that. Don't know what can be done about it. But I do give these a good review other than the 1 that was left out.

Dog loves going down our basement stairs now

Looks great and stays on the step without tape. Gave 4 stars only because I ordered 4 packs and the 1 package came a different size, approx 3 inches larger. Overall I am pretty happy with them.

Look just fine
These arrived promptly, in a bag, folded in half. Just lay them flat on the floor and they are fine. Mine will be held with carpet tape as recommended by the supplier. As mentioned in other reviews, there is a colour mismatch (dye lots?) in some but I just put the similar ones together as they are on a split staircase. For $30 Cdn, these are a great buy. If you want a perfect match, go to your local carpet store and pay way more. My dogs love them!

These must be taped down.
I had slipped on my glossy wooden stairs a few times. I didn't want to spend a lot because I wasn't sure it would solve the slip problem and I worried about looks. Without carpet tape the backing is not secure enough but carpet tape with the rug laid close to the front of the stair has solved my problem. I did notice that the carpets are from 2 different lots so slightly different in shade but it's practically unnoticeable. Also, be sure you have the swirls going in the same direction before sticking them down. For the price, I'm more than happy with my purchase.
