This has been so helpful to have. It allows us to apply diaper cream quickly and easily without it being a mess. The suction on the bottom is especially smart so you can put it down and finish diapering without having to worry about getting diaper cream on anything else.

This might seem like a silly thing to own, bit it definitely comes in handy. Sure, you could use your fingers to rub diaper cream on your baby's bottom.... but then you have hands covered in diaper cream that you just rubbed on a baby's bottom. This is small enough that it won't get in the way on the changing table, and you can keep hand with the cream. It is flexible, with a broad enough tip to easily and quickly spread the cream on the bottom -- almost like a spatula. My daughter doesn't object to it at all either, so it must feel fine. It does have a suction cup on the bottom to stick to a hard surface, which can be handy if you aren't able to wipe it off right away and don't want to get cream on the changing pad. I find that using baby wipes will easily clean it off after use, and it can be washed in the sink easily too.

Hate get diaper rash cream all over your hands? The Bumco spatula is easy to clean (just wipe with a wet wipe between uses), soft yet durable, bends just enough to easily get into all of those spots that are hard to reach, & applies diaper rash cream like a champ! I have 3 of these & buy them as baby shower gifts regularly. I find it especially useful for the diaper bag, as on the go diaper changes can be challenging enough without having rash cream all over your hands. I am a huge fan of a butt spatula! Babies are already messy as is. If I can do anything to help the mess, I will. Using a spatula for diaper cream application saves it from getting all over my hands or under my nails. I also feel like I use less diaper cream, which is a plus! I have one in the nursery, a diaper caddy, & a travel one in a diaper bag. You won’t catch me without one!

Purchased this as part of a baby gift for a mom who had it on her registry. I’ve used these before for cleaning out baby bottles, they are great and do the job. I purchased the bottle brush in pink because the mom to be is expecting a baby girl. The color is bright and pretty.

I love the baby bum brush! I don't think they had these when I had my other children. My middle child used to get chronic diaper rashes and would need bum cream applied at every diaper change.
