Perfect white elephant present
We got this years ago for ourselves as something silly, so we knew it was good and decided to get it for a family white elephant exchange. It actually cuts cake well and it’s super fun. Easy to clean, sturdy, blah blah, normal stuff. But it made Grammy laugh so hard. She is so excited. Worth every penny!

Silly little thing but I love it
When I saw this (pun intended) I knew I had to get one. I especially enjoyed it when Alexa announced the pending delivery of a “New Table Saw.” My wife heard that and started to vibrate. Well it is a table saw, I suppose. It cuts and serves cake at the table doesn’t it? A big hit with my grandchildren.

Functional quirkiness
This cake knife is perfect!!!!!! I love random weird kitchen accessories, this adds some humor to the day and works well! I’ve used it for several cakes now and no issues whatsoever, haven’t used for lettuce yet, so not sure about that functionality.

I Saw What You Did, Fred!
Very cute. It was a gift so I don't know how functional it actually is, but other Fred & Friends items I've purchased have been useful and usable in addition to being humorous. One person did comment that it isn't really a TABLE saw (I guess those are the round blade kind) but that person also isn't known for having the best sense of humor. If nothing else, the thing should be good for cutting lettuce and I've always heard that one shouldn't cut lettuce with a metal knife in order to prolong the freshness. Supposedly, metal knives causes the cut edge to brown quickly... I don't know if this is true or if it has more to do with the age of the lettuce when it is cut. I can see where using this to cut cake could be handy too because one might also use the blade to serve slices, with its wide size.

Arrived damaged
Very cute and sturdy, seems like it may be awkward to cut with, but, it’s plenty sharp and is a fun and creative idea. Arrived damaged. Maybe no QC from the seller?

Not as Cute as I had hoped
Yet still cute to gift to the right person. It is just a piece of molded plastic and would benefit from something to make it look a little more realistic and less like a 3 year old's pretend tool.

Good conversation piece.
Cute addition to my husband's BBQ area, & our outdoor kitchen. Will make a good conversation piece. I purchased the mini Circular saw looking pizza cutter too. Both are cute.
