EGOSKY 12Pcs 7mil Blank Stencil Sheets, 12 x 12 inch Mylar Template Stencil Material for Make Your Own Stencil

I've tried different brands and thickness of mylar to make my own custom stencils on my Cricut and this brand is excellent. 10 mil thickness means two passes with the deep cut Cricut blade but crisp and clean results even with detailed patterns. Definitely my go to option now for stencils I'm using with both paint and thicker art mediums. These also wash off clean with just dish soap which means they will last forever. They say the sheets are 12" x 12" in size but they are more 11 3/4" square but I think that makes it easier to manage when loaded on a green Cricut mat Don't use strong grip Cricut mats with these, the mylar gets stuck and grabs adhesive due to the smooth surface of these sheets, the standard grip Green mat works perfectly. Excellent value for the money and easily get several stencils from each sheet because cutting lines close to each other stay crisp and neat. I like the thicker material on these sheets because the stencils are more durable and provide crisper results that 7 mil or less that are commonly sold as the best kind. Go thicker and just use the deep cut blade with two or three passes for best results.

These sheets arrived in a sturdy reusable cardboard tube. The mylar is thick and unblemished. I am very pleased with the product and the speed in which I received it. So far I've used it to trace patterns; however I have bought new scalpels to cut stencils with. I think, with my skills, I'll be sticking to cutting straight lines as the mylar is thick and I don't have the hand strength to cut curves, but I will try something that's not too intricate and does not have sharp curves. It will make super stencils to use with texture paste to get a thick layer. Later: I am so please with this mylar, I've bought the 6mm to cut stencils, I'm equally as pleased with the quality, and am happy to say, I'm cutting much more intricate stencils now! The only slight negative is that when you unroll it, the mylar is slightly curved. A bit of time under a heavy book helped. Next time, to speed up the flattening, I am going to try either putting it in hot water or carefully heating it for a moment with my hairdryer, then putting a weight on it.

I checked out nearly every vendor for template plastic. Yes - these are thick when you are trying to use a machine to cut your templates. But you can run them through twice. If you are working by hand, how wonderful to have a thick enough template that you can rely on it. I'm checking out quilting in circles. My templates need to be high quality - in other words, sturdy enough to last and make accurate cuts. With a 10ml height, these mylar sheets fit the bill. Still easy to cut, but thick enough to make the results easy to use. I thought initially that I would prefer clear. But transparen works even better. Why? Because you can still see through enough to create your templates and you can see through well enough to see the material. But you have a definite sense of exactly where your template is placed. I'm very happy with my purchase.

They were OK, but not quite as thick as I thought they would be

Perfect for my needs. I wanted to make sturdy trays and dividers for my beads and this fits the bill. They are so thick I use a ruler and heat gun to make a "score line", then as it cools I bend into shape needed. I was pleasantly surprised at how thick these were, the sheets are huge and lots of them. I can think of so many more uses for these. Great product at decent price, will be buying more.

An awesome product. It came in a round tube but when I pulled the sheets out they pretty much laid flat out… I used my cricut to make quilting stencils and it worked beautifully. You do NOT need a deep cut blade to cut 7mil mylar sheets. I used the Mylar settings and after it had cut once instead of removing the mat I hit the c button again and it cut it again. Every stencil was cut all the way through.. Worked great. I have an Explore Air 2. Set the dial to custom and select mylar when it asks what you want to cut…

Great for making spray paint templates. Nice and thick material

These mylar/stencil sheets are quality. I have to create a custom setting on my Cricut cutting 2-3 times, but it cuts nicely and leaves clean edges. The negative spaces are easy to pop out. I saw one reviewer who was upset because they come rolled up in a tube. I think this is actually the best way to ship them. I simply pull one out and attach it to my Cricut mat and it lays flat. The tube that the sheets come in are great for storage because it doesn’t take up much space. I’ve had no problems with the Mylar rolling up or being deformed in any way. Cuts are clean and I’m really happy.

Hi, I’m hoping I can make everyone’s life a little easier by creating this review ! I needed to create a stencil. A reuseable stencil that’s not sticky. And I am using a cricut explore 3. I started off with the 10mil sheets and honestly I had no luck getting through the thick material with a new blade on my cricut. I had cut up to 4 times and had no luck. I moved over to the 7 mil and I had to cut out three times to make sure it went through. ( 2 isn’t bad either but 3 does the job ) It makes for a good stencil And anyone using a cricut the setting I did was on a mat and under “mylar”. Hope this helps

These are nice sturdy sheets! It took some playing to get the setting right but we figured it out. I have a cricut maker 4. Use the Mylar setting and actually go into that materials setting and change it to 150 I think k it was (if not 150, change it by about 50 more than the default). Then use the deep blade.
