Great for shade on a hot sunny day
I purchased this to give me some shade while walking around out in the sun all day. It does seem to be cooler under the umbrella than in direct sun. This was a good purchase, I would order it again and recommend it to anyone. It is large enough for two people to stand under comfortably. I have also used this in rain and it does protect from rain as well.

Resists strong winds and protects from sun as expected.

Could be lighter, but worked good.
It was good, but too heavy. I bought it for backpacking, a instructor suggested it. It needs a better tip on the end. OK maybe it should get a 3 + star, but I guess because it costs so much I was a sad about how heavy it was. It did keep the rain off me and did not turn inside out in the rain and wind.
