Nikon MH-23 Quick Charger (UK) for EN-EL9 and EN-EL9a

This works fine on the batteries of my partner's Nikon D40x, charges the battery pretty quickly and comes with its' own lead to allow you to plug it into the wall (phew!).Only real grumble is the price, but given it's made by Nikon (which means it'll be reliable), what do you expect?

My son lost his charger and bought a fake one from Amazon for £9.99 it didn't work so I paid more and got the real product, this charger works and is the real thing. Do not buy the cheap ones on Amazon as they are fakes and could be dangerous.

Tried cheaper non brand ones, but went for quality in the end. Works great

Great product, arrived quickly. We managed to loose our original charger and this was a great way to replace it.

Nikon Mh-23 Quick Charger My charger came with the Nikon D5000 that I purchased from Amazon.co.ukWhen charging the original battery that came with the camera the light turned to green once chargedI think that the original battery has expired and put a replacement one inNeither the red or green light came on when I tried to chargeI purchased a replacement battery from amazon.es manufactuerer eneride and after 24 hours of charging the light was still red. eneride have kindly agreed to send a replacement battery but I have to ask could the charger be faulty and do I need to replace this? It would be the first time that this has happened with regard to a charger and of course mobile phone chargers are constantly in use weekly

I bought the above product (supplied by Express Pro as listed.) What you get is a charger and mains lead with no paperwork. The charger comes in a plastic bag, no Nikon packaging, no Nikon manual and No Nikon waranty. Of course all Nikon products are supplied with these. The Nikon logo on the base of the unit is not the same as the Nikon logo on the MH-23 charger I already have (the letters are more spaced out). The printing on the front is not as good quality. I phoned Expres Pro about this and they advised that they did not sell fake products and the reason for the charger coming this way was because its "overstock". They said they could not comment on why the printing was different. As a photographer Im a member of Nikon Profesional Services. I contacted Nikon and they advised me that they don't sell products with no warranty. I leave buyers to draw their only conclutions from the facts I've stated above. Also, is it just me, or does anyone else think its strange that two reviewers below feel the need to state that this is a "genuine Nikon product" I've never felt the need to say that while reviewing a product. Especially one that comes as described above!

I suspect the product supplied was not new - it came supplied in a plastic bag and was marked - certainly looked used.. Not at all what you would expect from a genuine Nikon product
