What makes this bag great for storing and carrying during a move is: the full zip, large rectangular shape that actually holds it's shape despite the flexible material, and THE STRAPS that I used as a "backpack" style to carry clothing and more during a move that I otherwise wouldn't have been strong enough to carry in a box or by hand. I took my clothes (and other items would work just as well) that were hanging in my closet, folded them in half and put them in these and they were a lifesaver! An entire master closet fit in three of these bags and allowed me to carry them on my back, which was the most helpful thing as I was moving as a single woman and had to get as much as possible as quickly as I could on my own. This not only saved me space and allowed me to carry much more weight because of the "backpack" straps (I don't have a Frakta cart), this allowed me to carry boxes and other bulky items in my hands which saved me many trips up and down stairs. I used these same 3 I purchased for multiple trips with maximum (if not too much) weight in them and only one strap on one of the bags pulled out from the threading just a little, but it's actually still functional and hasn't broken if I carry it without putting too much weight in it. However, I really do think the quality holds up just as well as the functionality because I knew I put too much weight in the bags and made multiple trips with them on my back...so that wasn't at all unexpected it was just my fault of going over the capacity and having the straps pulled for too long. Versatile for storage for many different items, super handy to have for moving items or if you are someone like myself and live alone in an apartment where just carrying groceries can be a tough situation or require multiple trips, these are awesome to keep on hand! I even keep one in my car now as I have been able to haul items from bulky groceries to multiple boxes of Goodwill items in just one trip. For the price, just buy these if you're considering it! Will these bags ensure against moth infestation?** A: Moths are not supposed to eat this material. A few mothballs will definitely help keep them away. We cannot ensure it, but I certainly have not received any complaints from this happening. **Q: Would this be good to store clothes in an atic?** A: Absolutely. My kids use these bags to bring their clothes back and forth between home and college. Works great. **Q: What is the length of the handles?** A: There are several of different lengths. I'd like a shoulder strap, but the handles provided work fine. The longest handles, the ones for carrying it, are about the length one needs to not have the bag drag on the ground but still be able to go around whatever is stuffed in the bag. The smaller handles work great for sticking my cane thru to drag them, or to just hold on to and drag. The handles on the bottom are especially good for shaking the shake of the hay out! Best part, you can always FIND a handle to grab hold of! **Q: Can the collapsible clothing racks fit in these?** A: Might help if you'd give a link so we know what.racks you are referring to. I continue to love these -- I bought 3 different brands and the other two ripped the first use. I use them for hauling hay flakes from bales of hay. I am not supposed to lift more than 10 lbs. (if I do, I often break a bone) so I take the bale of hay the guy loads in my car and break it not flakes, about 4 flakes per bag. These work well for that because of the completely-zipped-open one end, and all the handles. I often drag the bag across the field also. And they've lasted two months now, each bag being used at least once a week Given the usage I use them for, and that hay comes with all kinds of sticks that could easily poke thru the fabric, I was expecting to replace these at least monthly but am still on my first order more than 2 months now. These bags store & transport clothes, bedding, towels, shoes, books and much more with ease. The zipper travels along the length of the bag and along one short side. This allows you to start packing it (jeans, shirts, sweaters....) while on it stands on it's end and continue to load the bag in an upright position. Keep pushing the items down and you will be amazed how much fits in the bag. The loaded bags will stack in your car like bricks. No wasted space between them, like I had when we packed dorm stuff in hard plastic toters. The material and straps are sturdy enough and waterproof (it frequently rains on move-in/move-out day). You can also carry them like a backpack which means less trips. To top it all off, you fold them up and they store flat in little more space than a padded envelope until you need them again.
