We have only natural nails and only will use germanikure at this point after trying other brands. Truly a great product for use for years.

Conceptually, love this.Much gentler on the nail than emery.Love that they don’t crumble apart like emery.Also love that they’re more hygienic than emery—so easy to rinse in the sink!Kind of weird to dry because of the rough texture against a towel but not a deal breaker.The different shapes are convenient: I like the narrow edge of the curved file for getting under short nails.Pedicure bar works pretty well too: more gentle than a typical foot exfoliator.The curved file arrived chipped at the edge, so disappointed about that, especially since it took so long to arrive.The files have also sustained further chipping, even though I never dropped them!Hopefully they will last good few years, still much better than emery.The leather pouch is nice and handy too.Would be nice to have at least a couple different grit sizes for the nail files.Also I find that the regular file is too rounded at the edges for short nails: would be nice to have more options suitable for short nails.

Background: Dude from the South, never had my nails done.I balked at the price on first pass, but I was trying to find some quality supplies and the metal files weren't doing it for me. Bought on a whim after a couple drinks on the second pass. They're great. Seriously.The textured glass doesn't make any awful noises that my wife would normally cringe at, nor does it rip and pull. The best I can describe it is soft grinding, leaving your nail egde smooth without any effort. Works equally well dry or wet. The thin tools are perfect for nail clean up. Plus, it makes me feel fancy.

I love all of the pieces. The curved file quickly shaped my nails and left them smooth. The cuticle pusher was great at removing dry skin stuck to my nails, and I used it to lightly roughen my nails before polishing. The callous file was easy and safe to use and left my heels softer. I will definitely purchase again for my friends and family.

Happy to support a quality company that shares my values. So nice to see a product that isn't made in China, isn't made from plastic, and will last a lifetime. The files work well - this kit has everything I need and nothing I don't. The compostable package is a nice touch - great to see something not wrapped in layers of plastic. If you are looking for a well made kit that will last, then look no further. I will definitely be looking at more GERMANIKURE products.

I STOPEED DOING MANICURES DURING THE PANDEMIC AND MY NAILS AND CUTICLES HAVE NEVER LOOKED THIS GOOD. I BOUGHT MY ORIGINAL SET FOR NAILS AND CUTICLES AND NOW I JUST PURCHASED THE ONE THAT HAS THE FOOT FILE AS WELL. I HAVE PURCHASED FOR MY DAUGHTERS AND MY GRANDDAUGHTER AS WELL. GREAT PRODUCT! VERY GOOD QUALITY!

This is definitely the best nail file I've ever used. All of the included files are really efficient (go slow your first time or you might overfile for the shape you're going for) and don't leave ragged edges on your nails. The foot file is especially great, rough enough to get callouses off quickly but not so rough that your feet are sore when you're done. The only complaint I have is that the moon file I recieved has a chip in it (see attached photo)
