NuvoH2O Replacement Cartridge for Whole Home Duo System, Advanced 2-Stage Citrus Filtered, Salt-Free Water Filter System + Water Softener and Carbon Filter – Healthy & Pure Water

I’ve been using this system for 6 years, functioning very well, we have a well, very hard water, been very happy, wish they would include the large o ring, but I’ve never had any issues or leaks, will be changing the filters and I did buy new O rings, from the manufacturer, miss good old Amazon, as it cost me more to ship them than the cost of the parts, oh and ups sent them to the wrong address, the manufacturer rectified it and sent me a new replacement, can’t complain about that.

This is a great system and we've had it for going on 3 years.

The filters and system work great as advertised, no more hard water, easy to install and last about 6 months.

I checked the videos on line and many are leaving out 1 step. The Nuvo H20 video says after replacing the cartridges let them sit for 1 hour to let the taste (citrus - white) cartridge crystalize inside. Then open the filter valves. It’s worked for me, no blue water as some have complained about. My shower doors and faucets have slowly had the hard water spots dissolve. - I’m on city water and more concerned about the chemicals they use and what may be in the ground water.

So easy to replace. Within 15 minutes I had them swapped out and they slowly refilled to make sure no damage or leaking occurred. Very happy and satisfied.

7 months into this system and I’m going back to a regular salt based softener. The system appeared to be acceptable the first 3 months. But after that the hard built up on plumbing and dishes came back. I decided to replace the gilt before the 6 month mark, around 5 months. One month into the new filter the buildup has barely decrease. This is not a water softener. It is a filter that does nothing to improve your water. What is the point of such ridiculous product. It is all made out of plastic making the filter replacement a challenge that can permanently damage the screws at the top. I’m not sure the next filter change will be possible… plus it would appear that in my case I would have to change the filters every 3 months to barely prevent buildup and residue on dishwasher and plumbing. DO NOT BUY THIS. This company should be ashamed of selling this crap.

It’s is a bit difficult changing the old ones out The water tastes the same, there is no difference in the taste, my bowls as well as my sinks are STILL showing hard water stains! These filters are getting costly
