These are wood chips for acne. One swipe and the pad comes out looking like it just sanded a greasy 2x4. I've used plenty of acne pads over the years, and these Stridex Maximum Strength pads perform exactly the way I hoped they would. The textured pads do an excellent job lifting away oil, dirt, and grime, and it's surprisingly satisfying to see what they remove even after you've already washed your face. Great product have been using it for a couple weeks now, apply it every other day or so, it leaves your skin feeling refreshing and smells good too. I noticed my breakouts is less and those that have developed don't stick around long. However it will make your skin a bit dry but a little moisturizer and your good to go.

Okay I forgot how much these worked. I had used these in high school and recently have been having terrible breakouts in adulthood. I thought why not I'll try em again, and I was actually shocked how quickly these cleared up my skin. They aren't as eye burningly strong as they used to be and feel more gentle which is nice. My acne cleared up in just a couple days. Great value for what you get as well.

I’ve used Noxzema cleansing pads for decades (I’m 49), so I never really questioned my routine. After I started using tretinoin in my 30s, my skin would peel off in sheets, and I just assumed it was an unavoidable side effect. After a closer look at my skincare routine I realized I was probably over-exfoliating. I switched from the Noxzema pads to these Stridex Sensitive pads because they’re alcohol-free while still containing salicylic acid to help with my hormone-related breakouts. The difference has been amazing. My skin is no longer peeling and flaking several times a week, but I’m still keeping my breakouts under control. They’ve been a great fit for my skin. My only complaint is the pads themselves. They’re much thinner and flimsier than the Noxzema pads, so they tend to roll up while I’m wiping my face, making them a little awkward to use. I wish they were a bit sturdier. Overall, though, the improvement in my skin has been worth the switch, and I’ll definitely keep buying them.

The Stridex Maximum Strength pads have been working very well for me so far. My skin already feels less irritated and I have not noticed any new irritation since starting them. One of those things that has remained as good as ever. I don't have acne, but I do like to use these on my nose area. It gently cleans the pores there and gets rid of those little dark things on my nose (that aren't blackheads). Sometimes, I use nose strips for that but in the warmer months it's easier to use Stridex. I loved these pads when I was younger; I am glad they haven't changed.

This product is quite strong and very irritating, so be careful when using it on acne-prone or broken-out skin. However, it works quite well when my skin is in good condition.

Very nice product will buy again.. good for daily usage on the face to fight acne
