Stridex Medicated Acne Pads, Maximum, 55 Count – Facial Cleansing Wipes, Alcohol Free, Acne Treatment for Face, For Moderate Acne, Smooth Application

Salicylic Acid, a.k.a. BHA, (beta hydroxy acid), is great for breakouts, blackheads, exfoliating inside pores, reducing skin inflammation, and smoothing the skin out in general. I've been using a very popular brand (PC) of liquid BHA, 2%, for years and it's really helped my skin stay clear. Then I read, on a great skincare blog, (Simple Skincare Science), that Stridex 2%. BHA pads are also great. This product is so affordable, I can't even believe it. It doesn't have alcohol, and I don't find it to be drying on my skin. Like other commenters here, I've also used it these pads on underarms and anywhere the skin seems rough or anything weird is happening. Even on my feet. Some foot creams have BHA as well so I tried this on my feet and toes and it is helpful there too. The fragrance is very light. I am allergic to many fragrances, but this fragrance doesn't bother me, fortunately. I am also allergic to the preservative phenoxyethanol, when it's close to my eyes, and this product does have phenoxyethanol, but it doesn't seem to bother my eyes. Maybe it has a very low level of it.

These toner pads are excellent for treating acne prone skin. They don’t over dry or scratch. They leave skin soft, clear, and even toned. Easy add on to any routine.

This product helps reduce my break outs but it doesn’t eliminate them. I’ve found that wiping the area is not enough to shrink the formed acne, instead I leave the pad on my face till it’s almost dry. What I do with this product is I cut 1 of the pads into pieces and put it on specific breakout areas and leave it on for 10-20 minutes and this method shrinks the painful pimples significantly. Do it just like that for 2-3 days and the pimples will shrink 70%. This may also lighten those dark areas but it can be drying on some people. This doesn’t normally sting but it will sting a little when you have already popped pimples/ openings. I also wipe this on my healed piercings and it eliminates any odor or dirt that may linger from the piercings. I have also used this on my armpits along with antiperspirants and my armpit odor has reduced significantly as well. This is multifunctional so 5 stars.

I use to buy Stridex when I was a teenager. It's still a good product, but this one was without the alcohol. It takes days longer for the blemish or zit to go away. Next time I will order the one with the added alcohol. The blemish clears within a couple of days.

these actually really helped my acne and i usually get super expensive products. They feel refreshing and cool. They are just as effective if not more in comparison to other expensive acne products i have tried

Trite is a good brand to clean your skin with. I use it all the time and it has cleared my skin up at first you’ll feel a little tingle, but I just means it’s working and it’s getting rid of all the dead skin cells and removing dirt from the pores it also elapses a while and it’s a pretty good size.

I like the brand very much, which can improve the skin and make it smoother.
