Stridex Maximum Acne Pads, Alcohol Free Salicylic Acid Pads for Face, 55 Ct

These are wood chips for acne. One swipe and the pad comes out looking like it just sanded a greasy 2x4. I've used plenty of acne pads over the years, and these Stridex Maximum Strength pads perform exactly the way I hoped they would. The textured pads do an excellent job lifting away oil, dirt, and grime, and it's surprisingly satisfying to see what they remove even after you've already washed your face. What sets these apart is that they're alcohol-free. You get the acne-fighting power of 2% salicylic acid without the scorched-earth feeling that some treatments leave behind. My skin feels clean and refreshed, not stripped and dried out. At 55 pads per container and a reasonable price, these are easy to keep on hand and use regularly. If they continue performing this well, they'll earn a permanent spot in my medicine cabinet. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This product helps reduce my break outs but it doesn’t eliminate them. I’ve found that wiping the area is not enough to shrink the formed acne, instead I leave the pad on my face till it’s almost dry. What I do with this product is I cut 1 of the pads into pieces and put it on specific breakout areas and leave it on for 10-20 minutes and this method shrinks the painful pimples significantly. Do it just like that for 2-3 days and the pimples will shrink 70%. This may also lighten those dark areas but it can be drying on some people. This doesn’t normally sting but it will sting a little when you have already popped pimples/ openings. I also wipe this on my healed piercings and it eliminates any odor or dirt that may linger from the piercings. I have also used this on my armpits along with antiperspirants and my armpit odor has reduced significantly as well. This is multifunctional so 5 stars.

Great product have been using it for a couple weeks now, apply it every other day or so, it leaves your skin feeling refreshing and smells good too. I noticed my breakouts is less and those that have developed don't stick around long. However it will make your skin a bit dry but a little moisturizer and your good to go.

Use it. It works. It's not the newest, hippest or trendiest product. But it definitely works. Wash your face/body part, dry well and then use the pads. Wait 30 minutes before applying make up or toner or going to bed so it has a chance to dry. Using it once a day and I noticed a big improvement in about 10 days. After a month, I had much clearer, smoother skin. The pads are like regular make-up pads - they hold the product but are not really fuzzy. For less than one drink at the coffee shop, you'll have great skin.

I’ve used Noxzema cleansing pads for decades (I’m 49), so I never really questioned my routine. After I started using tretinoin in my 30s, my skin would peel off in sheets, and I just assumed it was an unavoidable side effect. After a closer look at my skincare routine I realized I was probably over-exfoliating. I switched from the Noxzema pads to these Stridex Sensitive pads because they’re alcohol-free while still containing salicylic acid to help with my hormone-related breakouts. The difference has been amazing. My skin is no longer peeling and flaking several times a week, but I’m still keeping my breakouts under control. They’ve been a great fit for my skin. My only complaint is the pads themselves. They’re much thinner and flimsier than the Noxzema pads, so they tend to roll up while I’m wiping my face, making them a little awkward to use. I wish they were a bit sturdier. Overall, though, the improvement in my skin has been worth the switch, and I’ll definitely keep buying them.

Okay I forgot how much these worked. I had used these in high school and recently have been having terrible breakouts in adulthood. I thought why not I'll try em again, and I was actually shocked how quickly these cleared up my skin. They aren't as eye burningly strong as they used to be and feel more gentle which is nice. My acne cleared up in just a couple days. Great value for what you get as well.
