this product is actually very high quality, looks great, gets the job done, and the only down side is that the holder is metal so if you slide it on the table it could leave a scratch depending on the amount of pressure

Love these. Much better than cork coasters that warp and look horrible after a couple days, much better than the woven plastic Ikea ones that I thought looked kinda-cool but served no purpose other than destroying whatever table happened to be under them, and much better than wasteful paper coasters that you throw out after one use. These look nice, wipe off easily, DO THEIR JOB, and match our obvious-Ikea-devotee apartment perfectly. We've had them for a few months now, and I don't see why they wouldn't last us forever. A perfect product.

It looks stylish and different from traditional wood-type coasters. I would recommend that people should try finishing their drinks in timely manner because it will retain water at the bottom and it will sometimes cling to the bottom of the cup when you lift it. Just be cautious. Other than that the water build up does not spill over. But some water stains remain after multiple uses... just have to clean it more thoroughly if you want that gone

I bought these coasters to place under my expresso bodum glass cups. I have to admit, they look great and the simplicity is awe inspiring. They are stainless steel and quite functional. All of my glass ware are double wall so I do not experience excessive condensation and have the coaster stuck to my cups. If you want coasters that absorb water then you should get the thirsty stone coasters instead. These for me are very nice looking and work great. I'm actually using them right now as I'm writing this review. Highly recommended.

Right. So, these are not bad as coasters go, and the price was good, so I ordered two sets, thinking this way I would have enough coasters to go around when family comes over for the Easter holiday. However, they're not what I wanted, and now I am sorry twice, first for having bought them, and second for having ordered two sets, when there was actually still plenty of time for me, as a Prime member, to receive the first set and then decide whether it would be worth having a second set.What I had hoped to receive was a set of mostly stainless steel coasters with just a small amount of rubber backing to prevent them from sliding off the end tables or scratching my woodwork. Had I looked more carefully, I would have seen from the photo here that actually, the coaster is primarily made of rubber, with a very thin sheet of steel on the top. The problem here is that Ox, our over-sized beagle, chews on everything. I had some nice coasters already; he ate them. He hasn't eaten these yet, but as soon as they begin to smell either of human hands or of beverage, he will carry them off when we aren't looking. I've tried putting the coasters up and away, but that defeats the purpose of coasters, which is to be in place for someone to set their drink on.For those without dogs (or with better trained ones), these ought to be all right. The size is sufficiently large to put a large mug on and not worry about it sliding off the edge. They stay in place well. They're easy to wipe clean and don't look bad.But I was looking for dog-proof coasters, and these are not that.

How much can you really say about coasters? I love the modern look, ties well into my kitchen theme. The lack of channeling/borders means at a certain point, water/condensation collected on the coaster will indeed spill off onto your table. Regardless, they are much larger than the base of most glasses, so they do offer some protection. For the price, with they modern brushed stainless look, they are worth every penny.

I love these modern coasters! Not only do they coordinate well with various decor, they are easy to clean and they are padded underneath so they don't scratch my furniture. There are 6 in total, whch works well for my family. I am going to order another set or two to have on hand for when ee have company.
