Great Product
I have two old gas cans (2 and 5 gal) with the fancy spouts. Both old spouts failed overtime, pouring a good bit of my gas on my mowers. These new EZ Pour spouts are the instant fix for my old gas cans. I would recommend trying the EZ Pour before buying a new gas can.

this nozzle is a godsend...
I have spent many years getting completely irritated with the mandated and very complicated nozzles on every gas can sold since 2009. To me, they are like some sort of engineered torture, designed to make the simple task of getting gas out of a container and into a gas tank as difficult as possible. Just the other day I tried to put gas in my mower. The can had been sitting in the sun, and pressure had built up. When I was finally able to get the nozzle to open, gas sprayed directly into my mouth and eyes. That was not a pleasant experience. At that point, I was done. I got online, found this nozzle, and decided to order it. It arrived yesterday. It screwed on easily and fit my 5 gallon gas can perfectly. No leaking. And best of all, the gas came out. All I had to do was lift the can up, stick the nozzle into my mower, and lo and behold, the gas flowed. No buttons to push, no forcing a nozzle contraption to open that doesn't want to, and no gas leaking or spraying everywhere. Who knew. I have since ordered 2 more.

Works great!

Works but slow pour
This spout fit well and doesn't leak, however it's painfully slow when filling large tanks. There is no air backflow system so it does that chug-chug-chug pour. Something to keep in mind if your gas container doesn't have an air return. Flow is about a minute per gallon.

Great replacement
Drill bit recommended for vent worked and required some extra force to get it pushed in which makes sure it’s well seated. Great flow rate now.

Perfect upgrade to new gas cans
These are the perfect upgrade to the new Midwest 5610 5-gallon gas cans. I used a 1/2" paddle bit to drill a hole in top/back behind the handle for the vent. **TIP** Drill it off the the side, NOT in the seam. Throw out the nozzle that comes with the can. In my application it uses the yellow nozzle nut. Do not overtighten or it will damage the seal.I have put these on 5 of these Midwest 5610 cans, the oldest ones are about 2 years and still don't leak.

Perfect fit for Midwest can
I like filling my scooter tank at home instead of having to stop at the gas station and mess with helmet and gloves and the fume cover on the nozzle. Unfortunately, I hate most of the safety nozzles because my tank is in the floorboards and I always end up spilling with them. The one that came with my Midwest can had some kind of faulty seal and would leak out the sides of the cap while you were getting the nozzle into place. Actually created more of a safety issue than just a regular nozzle.I got one of these to see if I could make the can usable instead of buying a whole new one. It took less than a minute to install and then I was able to just uncap it and fill my bike easily. Absolutely a game changer. I'm not worried about anyone else having access to my gas can and I don't store gas in it super long term, so I don't really need the extra safety features, and I'm just not coordinated enough to actually get a benefit out of them. Should have replaced the nozzle years ago. I do kind of wish it had a sharper angle because the opening of my tank is parallel to the ground, but still worth it.I didn't install the vent and didn't have any trouble emptying a 2 gallon container into my gas tank. I probably won't install it, but having it included is a positive as are the extra rings for fit. The seal is great. I can hold a full tank upside down with the cap on and nothing leaks. I wouldn't recommend it, but if it gets knocked over when capped you're probably fine.

Hit & Miss when it comes to making a good seal
These are hit and miss...sometimes they seal well and sometimes they leak....I've not had much leak with any brand so far. These seem to work about 80% of the time.
