Packaging/provider: Importantly, these jars came in a timely fashion, well wrapped and sealed. No complaints from me. I saw some reviews that said there were issues, but my cherries came in perfect shape. Product: Luxardo has been my stand-by cherry for a while, but I've always thought they were a tad too molassesy (I know that isn't a word). I found myself cherryless during this pandemic so I thought I'd order a jar. There were no good prices for one jar and I figured if I was getting two I'd try something different and I was intrigued by the cool Toschi jar. I'm not disappointed. The Toschi have a bit more cherry flavor and are less sticky. Re the sticky comment, I mean that they stand alone from the juice in the drink. I think they are a bit cheaper than the Luxardo as well. I'm glad to have both jars.

The Luxardo Maraschino cherries are delicious and have a deeper flavor almost leading into a slightly sweetened molassesy kind of thing going on and I'll be honest, I usually end up putting 1 or 2 in a cocktail and then eating 3 or 4 before even taking a sip of my drink. The Toschi Amarena are equally delicious but have a drastically different profile. They tend to be a little be less firm in texture as well as much more tart in flavor.

Product is excellent but very strong, so very little is needed for any one reason.

Fantastic. The best cherries you can buy for cocktails. The dark cherry syrup is great to mix in a Manhattan. In my eyes.... no other cherries exist.

All great except that one of the jars arrived opened, and the labyrinthine Amazon system for returns or replacement didn't allow me to even report this and ask for a replacement. when the pandemic has calmed I guess I'll by my cherries at a brick and mortar establishment.

Delicious variety!

The Toschi jar was leaking in the box. It was upside down and the Luxardo bottle was jammed against it in the box. Amazon says this is not eligible for return!
