Biryani making is an art and it demands judicious selection of type of rice, combination of spices for its quintessential taste. But this product made the entire laborious task of making Biryani as easy as pie.All that’s required is to add 250 ml of water to the mix followed by pressure cooking for 6 mins and slow cooking for 6 more minutes and Presto! Restaurant quality Biryani is ready to be served.The combination of spices and ingredients is so unique and perfectly crafted to eliminate the painful task of cooking in stages or while monitoring, yet giving Biryani it’s hallmark taste and flavour in every morsel. It also had textured protein which is soft, chewy and turns juicy during cooking by absorbing the essence and flavour of spices.This product is a real treat and I am definitely going to order more, and more.

Very tasty

The media could not be loaded.  Ordered 5 packets. But one was damaged. Looked like it was attacked by rats. Good dot veg biriyani tastes good but hygiene and safety is a necessity.

Taste is OK but has kind of sharp chemical taste/smell, maybe because of the citric acidIt's ok to eat once in a while. Leaves strong chemical smell on the InstantPot silicone rim - unable to get rid of it. Unmutton Keema of the same brand is a much better optionIt’s for 1 small portion for sure, not 3 as it says in the instructions.Hence very expensive.

I have tried other Good Dot products & trust me they were so disappointing...But this one is different & tastes so good... sometimes you'll really forget that it's Vegetarian Biryani...it's easy to cook & damn delicious... However, it claims that each packet provides 3 servings but it's wrong...You can serve only 1-2 person with a packate...Best from Good Dot and it's the only thing from Good Dot in which i can invest in future...

I have not had biryani in a long time after going vegetarian and I thought my tongue would have forgotten the taste of a decent biryani. But, I must say the moment the mixture was cooking in my kitchen the aroma itself was enough to convince me that what was being made was a good chicken biryani. Now, comes the taste test. When the cooker contents were served, boy oh boy, the taste of the (mock) chicken pieces fooled me right away. I had to read the cover again to see if this was indeed a vegetarian product. It was so good. For someone who is motivated to find a replacement I am sure this product will satisfy them. This product is a need of the hour for the world, as more an more people are making the switch to a kinder lifestyle.

The product is decent, and I used to order it very often, but there's a problem with shipping every now and then. In the past I've received fewer packets than ordered, but this time there were holes poked in all 8 packets I ordered. This must have been deliberate because they arrived in a box that's too small for 8 untampered packets. The product isn't worth the hassle of contacting customer service every time, and I'm not going to order any more of it.
