I grew up with the series but never actually completed ALL the episodes. Now? It's like the afternoons of yesteryears served on a silver platter. Crisp, brightly colored and awesome character designs which you won't see anymore. Daarn it! I just can't help myself praising this trailblazing show! The storylines, though meant to sell a toyline based on a failed Conan the Barbarian project are at times sappy, formulaic good vs evil, but they never insult your intelligence! The writers/directors involved are the known heavy weights of our classic scifi shows and books! Dini, Straczynski,Ditillo etc etc. Aren't we all so lucky to have experienced their works during their heyday. The bad? Maybe a BD in the future? This would look awesome if the ressolution was amped up! I also noticed that certain scenes, the colors and details blurr out. And one episode, meaning the first episode has a scene removed. Nope. Nothing controversial. It's just that it sort of breaks the story continuity ( i.e. Diamond Ray of Disappearance where a jar falls on Orko's head prevening the Diamond from sending him into another dimension). They scene might have been lost from the masters most probably. Highly recommended! Nostalgia, features and price!

I only had "bootleg " episodes, now I got the original and when the new movie comes out I can share w/ the grandkids.

A great find for millennials who still hold a love for classic 80s/90s animation. A great dose of nostalgia with a beloved story and characters. Recommend getting She-Ra with it as there are several crossover episodes between the 2 series

I refuse to leave the Masters of the Universe a bad review, haha. I had to return these as Amazon shipped the DVDs in a bubble mailer and the discs are packaged very well. They popped out of the container and were all scratched up still inside the DVD container. These need to be repackaged and sent in a box with plenty of packaging to protect them. I'm going to try to order again and hope for the best. As far as the cartoon He-Man and the Masters of the Universe? The best cartoon of our generation and is STILL fantastic. These discs are a GREAT deal and have many extras.

Good memories

I bought this while on sale, so I decided to keep it as I was offered to return it without without chance of replacement (only offered money back) and I bought it for 50% of the price while on a temporary sale. 1 ) it was advertised on swedish Amazon mentioning nothing about being an American region locked dvd. 2 ) it arrived in a cardboard envelope, and as it is a heavy set on so many discs inside a plastic case, it came with big cracks in the case and a tear on the sleeve. However the discs were not affected, and I just want all the episodes so I decided to keep it but very disappointed that the seller shipped it with so little care and protection. So beware if you don't have a region free player, and be aware it might arrive damaged. It's a heavy set, a beautiful one.

its my fault really this boxset is actually region locked, nothing about that is mentioned once you purchase it...too bad for me, i opened it, assuming it'd be good to go, but alas... region locked. i guess i need to buy an all region dvd player now

A fantastic opportunity to have the complete He-Man original animated series at home on the shelf to watch whenever you want; it's all there. Whereas there were doubtless many episodes that I missed either because of other demands or because ITV simply didn't show them all consistently finally I can work through this set and know I have seen them all! A good price for such a huge amount of material.
