Amy Byer Big Girls' Top with Lace Inset Bell Sleeves

This is a beautiful top. It's perfect for my daughter's fourth-grade concert. I don't know if it is because it is January and very dry out, but this top is very staticky! I need to pick up an anti-static spray so it won't cling. As far as sizing, my daughter is 58 inches tall and has a 22-inch waist. The medium fits her well. If she were wearing this top with a skirt, I would have her wear the medium. Because of the reviews, I also purchased a large, which is the top she will actually wear for her concert. She will wear the large because it will look dressier with the velvet pants she plans to wear. So I would say it runs slightly small. It's definitely worth purchasing and both my daughter and I love it!

It's lightweight, but does contain a sewn in tank for modesty. Purchased for upcoming orchestra concert because the kids all need to be wearing a white top and black bottoms (see also Amy Byer Solid Black Maxi Skirt). Based on the reviews of others, I bought both a medium and a large for a 10yo girl who is 57" and 70lbs. The large was easier to fit her arms through as she was putting it on. Once on, the neck is slightly larger than we would like, but the bottom flows a bit nicer. The medium would not allow for any growth, so we are returning. Therefore, other reviewers are correct, this top runs small.

Worn on a thin 13 yr old. Needed for orchestra concert . Dressy enough, comfortable , loose fitting but not huge . Pure white

I needed a plain, white top for my daughter's orchestra concert. This shirt was perfect! The material is roomy and the bell sleeves give a nice detail. The top is conservative but not too stuffy or old-looking. My 11-year old LOVED it...especially with the necklace. The shirt has two separate layers to it, and the bottom layer is a nice lining layer to ensure that the shirt is not see-through. The over layer is more sheer and flowy. While the material is polyester, it doesn't feel cheap. I did machine wash it on the delicate cycle and put it on a hanger to dry; that seemed to work fine. Very happy with this purchase, and I highly recommend it.

I had to clips the back with a small hair clip to keep the middle section from being way too large, but my daughter is very tall and thin for her age (she is 7 and is 50 inches tall and weighs 48 lbs), so it's always difficult to find shirts that fit her narrow frame. Using the clip for us didn't matter as she was wearing this for a family picture, so the back didn't show. I think it would fit fine for a girl of average size. The length of the sleeves fell nicely as well. This is a beautiful shirt and I would recommend it for anyone looking for a sweet, delicate, good quality shirt.

This is a beautiful dressy shirt. We wanted something a little nicer than the white polo that my daughter normally wears to her band concerts. We ordered this shirt for her to wear to Solo & Ensemble and it was just beautiful on. She's normally a 16-18 in girls tops, or an XS in women's and this top fit her very nicely. It's an appropriate length, and the neckline is appropriate for a girl her age, as well. I wish they had this in another size up, because I would buy one and put it away for next year.

It’s a very pretty blouse. Good quality, but material is very delicate. After reading customers’ reviews and review the size chart I ordered size Medium for my 8 year old daughter. But we had a huge disappointment after the blouse arrived. We discovered that size chart is incorrect . According to size chart - size Medium 8-10, but in real life size Medium corresponds to size 10-12 on the blouse tag. So it’s a lot bigger than we expected. The neck line is almost inappropriately low!!! Very disappointed….

I bought this for my 11 year old who is 100 pounds and 4’ 10” tall with a long torso. We bought for a band concert. We love the blouse. She is average build but I sized up for her long torso. Sleeves are beautiful as is back. It has inside panel so not to sheer for stage lighting with undergarments. She plays brass instrument and the blouse covers her torso when she raises her instrument. Quality is great and price was good so great value.
