My Big Dinosaur Book (My Big Board Books)

What a great book for little kids! My grandson is so into dinosaurs and this book is perfect for him. He "reads" it every day even though he is not quite 3 years old. He loves the pictures and so do I as they are very bright and vibrant with about half of the photos have body shots. There is a small description of each dinosaur but there isn't any pronunciation guide which I think would be very helpful. Love the questions on each page so your little one can find what the answer is. This is a perfect book for toddlers and they will get many hours of enjoyment out of it.

This book, beautifully illustrated with large color pictures, would make an ideal gift for any children between the ages of 3-8. Whether they have a current interest in dinosaurs or not, this book is an excellent introduction. However, it is limited to a pictorial presentation only with a number of questions posed in order to hold the reader's attention. Unfortunately, there is no information presented pertaining to those dinosaurs being depicted. A more informative book could be provided later if there is sufficient interest. This is also a very sturdy oversized book and the price is highly reasonable.

Great illustrations and nice size book

I absolutely love this book! Was bought for my 3 year old nephew who is in love with dinosaurs right now. Have bought him many sets of the rubber toy ones but he often asks which is which. The basic ones I know well but some of the less common i dont. Thought this would be a great gift for both him and the family so we can be teaching him the right names for the right dinos! Great picture quality and is a board book!

I bought this for my son who absolutely loves dinosaurs...and donuts. This books shows the dinosaurs in various poses with their names right below. I have two negative remarks about this book: 1) it would be nice if they had pronunciations next to the name, I can't tell you how many times I've just made up a dinosaur name on the spot; 2) also, it seems that some of the dinosaurs don't seem to be very accurately represented. I know that nobody knows "exactly" what they look like, but the T-Rex looks like some smaller cousin of this massive reptile. He looks small and dinky. Either way, my child loves the book and loves making up stories about what these dinosaurs are looking at.

It's a big book. With so many different dinosaur names. My son's going to love it for his fourth birthday

Beautiful graphics and fun for a gift

Kids are almost universally fascinated by dinosaurs...and my kids are the same in this regard. They love this book. It has lots of pictures, they are colorful and are printed on heavy stock paper that is likely to last a long time even for kids. Ever since my kids watched a recent dinosaur movie, they became obsessed with learning the names of many dinosaurs and this book does that job perfectly with big bold writing and nice pictures throughout. The size is about eleven inches by eleven inches, so it is a nice big size as the name implies. Highly recommended. (I attached a picture to show size comparison to a normal water tumbler)

Good illustrations with correct names of the Dinosaurs, bought as part of a birthday present for a 3year old girl who has a lively interest in the Dinosaurs at the museum on visits. This was ordered late on a Friday morning and arrived Saturday morning could not believe how quick this was.

My three year-old son loves to look at the pictures and point out the differences between the dinosaurs. He’s also quickly learning all their names. The book is a good size and so are the pictures.

Its a wonderful book. My 2 years old is hooked to it as he's a biiiiig Dinosaurs' fan.

I was a little disappointed, I thought this would include explanations of the dinosaurs, pictures of them in their natural habitats...instead these were just pictures of the dinosaurs, you could hardly see how huge they were, the velociraptor looked as big as the T-Rex. My two year old son loves it though so I would say it is a good introduction. I will get him something more detailed down the line.
