Bit adapter
This adapter works great to use smaller concrete bits on a larger hammer drill.

Works as intended
I've used this several times on a rotary hammer drill. It seems well made and enables me to use whatever Plus bits I want on my SDS Max drill.

Great accessory
Good well in my Makita & Milwaukee SDSmax. Fantastic at allowing me to use bit sizes I've already got.

Worked Well for About 15 Hours - Then It Fell Apart
Headline tells most of the story. I used this adapter on 8 different days. Some days for several hours, other days for one task. I used it primarily for my chisels in hammer mode on concrete and cement brick. On my last job it jammed up after 30 minutes of use. It was chisel a bit, clean and reposition, chisel a bit type work. When I pulled on it, the chisel/holder assembly fell off the adapter shank. Had to pound the chisel out of the holder. Chisel is fine. Holder appears to have deformed. So I got $2/hour usage out of it. I am not upset about that. I will look for a more durable unit. Not sure there is one out there.

Perfect
Used to adapt various bits and add more distance for comfortable use using various angles of "attack": for example, to take up tile from floor.

Great for adapting a heavy duty Max hammer drill to smaller projects with smaller bits
Bought as part of a scout project to drill about fifty 1/2" diameter, 4" deep holes in a new slab to mount fence post flanges using a Max hammer drill. Compared to buying equivalent Max bits, this just about paid for itself with the two bits the project used, fits easily in the case for the hammer drill for future use, and shows no signs of wear.

It needs lots of oil to move freely.
It works but adds a lot of length to your bit. Will make it hard to use in tight spaces and with long bits

Works well.
This worked well to allow me to drill smaller holes with my SDS Max drill. Drilled about 12 holes with it an no issues so far. It does add a bit more length to the whole rig.
