Surlim Soft Shell Flag Football Helmet for Youth, Rugby Scrum Cap Headgear

We've bought 5 of these rugby helmets so far for our son who had brain damage. Very comfortable. Good fit for our 8 year old. They are sturdy and easy to use, easy to adjust. The straps are Velcro. After a few washes though, the Velcro is not as sticky and the strap does not work as well. But it's worth the money.

We love this Helmet head protector, the cushion protection does protect kids heard from self injury, sports games and much more.

If your looking for a protective helmet for light sports play, than this is nice. Good value for the money but I wouldn't trust this for heavy sports play. This helmet is lightweight, breathable & comfortable BUT after testing it out....its not so great for providing full protection for Autism / head bangers, epilepsy, seizers, elderly slip / fall head protection, etc. It will absorb / resist light impact but doesn't absorb & or resist heavy impact so well (they will feel it) just not as hard when comparing it to no helmet. I would go for Game Changers aka Game Breakers for heavy sports play & or for scenarios mentioned above.

Tried to do a 5 star rating, but it wouldn't let me. It's great. My son said it's cool on his head and comfortable. It does what it's supposed to do. I give it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I used this scrum cap for the past 2 seasons for rugby. About half a season ago, the velcro stopped sticking, and the chin strap kept disconnecting. The cap would came off after almost every scrum or tackle. Super annoying. Other than that, the scrum cap fits well and is comfortable, but becomes useless when it peels off during gameplay.

My son is insane. He is so insane that we have him wear a soft helmet at daycare to prevent bruises on his head. He grew out of the baby helmets and so I found this on Amazon. Yeah, I know it’s not for a rambunctious kid, but that’s what we use it for. I love the coverage it provides to his head AND ears. The chin strap is great. The quality is there. It is lightweight and durable. My lil man looks like he is gonna kick some serious @$$ on the playground! LOL

Does the job and fits well. It does have stretch plus it is warm so your head will sweat in it. My son uses it and says it’s good insulation as the weather up in the Midwest is still cold for outdoor sports

Like the title it works well but for me the quality is a bit on the low side but the price was lower than some so if your after a budget helmet this will work and do the job for a while. Review by Aussie Jeep Muscle
