Review: I'm a Fan of It's Big Brother but Sometimes You Just Need a Smaller Version - I've been using the Scrubba Wash Bag for years and it's been great to have to do laundry mid-trip. It also saves me quite a bit of money compared to having the hotel do my laundry. I just got back from Switzerland and used the Mini Ultra Compact version and loved it! Sometimes when it's just me, I just need a few things washed like shirts, socks, and underwear. I'm okay not doing a larger load, just 1 shirt and a pair of socks. The mini has been great for that. I'll fill it up in, and then shuffle it around the hotel floor. The Scrubba Wash Bag is very small and lays flat in my luggage. I've heard some issues with quality but I haven't had any issues. It's worked as advertised. Sure, you can probably get a dry sack and it will do the same thing. Honestly, I like the toughness of the material, the air valve, and the overall dimensions of the bag for what I need to wash. For what it is, it sounds expensive but I've used Scrubba Wash Bags on most of my trips and I'm already getting my money's worth for how much I've saved on sending out my laundry.
Review: Not nearly as good or sturdy as the original, very disappointed - After buying the original scrubba in 2018 and having it be a travel staple on at least 10 trips, I was SO excited to see that a mini version had been created, as I normally wash clothes every day while traveling and the normal sized one seemed a bit overkill for a tshirt and some socks. Unfortunately, I noticed as soon as I opened it that the materials (clasps especially) seemed to be much lower quality, and on only my second wash, it started leaking in a way my normal sized scrubba never did. I've been incredibly disappointed by this, and wish that the quality had stayed the same! **Edit: after being contacted by Scrubba, it turns out that my Scrubba had a manufacturing defect. Super satisfied with the customer service, changing to 5* review!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Should I choose the 2.5 oz. Scrubba wash bag Mini or an original 5.3 oz. Scrubba wash bag?**
A: The Scrubba wash bag Mini is tiny and is designed to wash just socks and underwear or one T-shirt at a time. Its size/weight makes it perfect for ultra-light travelers and thru-hikers but for most people the original Scrubba wash bag is best.

**Q: Is the roll-down closure 100% water tight?**
A: The roll-down closure used allows the product to be lightweight and flexible however some water can wick through the closure over time. This can be minimized by rolling the closure as tightly as possible 6 times.

**Q: What cleaning products can be used to wash clothes in the Scrubba wash bag?**
A: Laundry liquids, powders and sheets can all be used in the Scrubba wash bag (even shampoo or bodywash if you are desperate). Please ensure powders or sheets are fully dissolved before adding clothing to the portable washing machine.

**Q: Does the Scrubba wash bag remove stains?**
A: Independent testing shows that the Scrubba wash bag gives a machine quality wash. However, just like with your home washing machine some stains need to be pre-treated before washing. Travel stain removing pens work well with the Scrubba wash bag.

**Q: What do I do if I have issues with my Scrubba wash bag?**
A: Please reach out as we can assist with tips and tricks to get the most out of your Scrubba wash bag. We can also offer repair instructions and/or replacements for manufacturing defects.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Small, easy to transport. Does the job!
*by E***A on July 29, 2022*

I bought this for a trip to Europe hoping I could use it to do some simple laundry to pack less. It's so easy to pack, I ended up packing my socks in it so doubled as a bag as well. It definitely cleans your clothes, I took 1 star off only because when you use hot water it can be really hot on your hands when you wash your clothes. Just be careful how hot the water is that you put inside!
