Star Wars: Legion Rebel Veterans UNIT EXPANSION - Battle-Hardened Heroes! Tabletop Miniatures Game, Strategy Game for Kids and Adults, Ages 14+, 2 Players, 3 Hour Playtime, Made by Atomic Mass Games

It was a Christmas gift and the recipient was very pleased.

Highly recommended

The mark 2 medium blaster trooper came with the wrong head and one of the veterans was missing the torso piece. Very disappointed that I paid full price for a fraction of the overall product. Great quality figures but it's not a good look when a brand new set is missing pieces and has the wrong pieces.

I was looking forward to building and adding these guys but the arms for one of the models are missing.

This kit comes with 7 Rebel Veterans, outfitted from the Battle of Hoth in Empire Strikes Back. Six of them make up a troops unit, and the seventh one, the guy with the heavy gun on the tripod, can be fielded as his own, separate, troop unit. They assembled very easily, and come with all the cards and tokens to play with them. Really good kit.

This is one of the older expansions for Star Wars Legion, so each individual model comes in a separate bag of components within the box. The models are a soft plastic, so a lot of people recommend superglue to assemble them. They have minimal flash on them, which is easily cleaned up with a hobby knife. They're easy to assemble with the exception of the emplacement gunner, which is a bit fiddly and doesn't completely sit flush with the base. Other than that, the models are detailed and look good on the table.

Rebel vets are a solid option for any rebel army. They are more costly than rebel troopers and fleet troopers, but open up the option to bring the Mark 2, which is the cheapest core option that rebels have. Their heavy weapon is also range 4, and has the coveted key word critical 2, meaning it can hurt vehicles and armor more easily than a standard weapon. The mark 2 that also comes in this box also has critical and can fire support other elements of your army. While not the best in all cases, this box come with two core units and a lot of fire power. I have bought three because i like them so much.

Great minis. While they do look like Hoth snow troopers, a simple palette swap can make them look like normal troops. Just slightly bundled up. Plus you get a second support unit in the tripod blaster, so that’s added value

CAN'T go wrong with Fantasy Flight company
