Nice comfy slippers for a man who normally does not like slippers at all - he loves that it's so easy to slide out of them to 'cool off' and then tuck his feet back in easily when needed. He has large feet and it's been difficult to find slippers that slip on and off, and are wide enough for his feet but these fit the bill perfectly. They won't offer any great support or anything like that, but are warm, and easy to wear around the house and the sole allows for that occasional trek for a package, mail or trash. These are especially helpful when he's working at his desk at home though he's stopped short of buying an extra pair for the office. LOL!

My husband and I practically live in our house shoes during our long winter months, especially during the recent pandemic years. Because these fit him perfectly, I've been buying him a pair every year or so.

I bought these slippers for my step-father for Christmas because he needed house slippers in a wide size. He loves them! Really well made, lots of room, very sturdy sole and doesn't have a back which is what he wanted. He can go outside to get the mail and not worry about the sole getting wet and they are very plush and warm also. They were a big hit so I am very pleased. It was difficult to find specific sizes in a wide size without a back which were the parameters I had to work with. These were perfect!

I bought the slippers from Amazon at the end of April. When I received them, I loved them, because they are really comfortable, and decent looking as well. I wore them for about a month before it became too hot, and then stored them in the closet for the summer. I started wearing them again at the end of the summer, and noticed that they were looking really shabby. The sheepskin was worn away in the heel, and the seam on the upper was becoming frayed.Then, last week, the sole on the right slipper came completely unglued from the upper. The upper is not sewn to the sole, so the sole is flopping around, making the slipper unusable. I have uploaded pictures of the slippers' current condition.The company did not respond to my emailed complaint. I expect any slipper to last more than 3 months' use, and especially a slipper as expensive as these. It's too bad, because they really are comfy, but the company is clearly having problems with quality control. I won't be buying slippers from Old Friend again.

I have bought 4 Old Friend slippers in the past, but they were the slip on type with a back. I thought I would try the open back this time. I cannot get used to them. I will go back to the full shoe type slipper in the future.

My husband loves these and gets two pairs a year (Christmas and Father's Day). My problem is that they wear out so quickly. The sheepskin on the inside quickly wears off under his heal and the ball of his foot. Then the rubber on the bottom wears away and he has holes in the soles. The redeeming quality is that he says they are very comfortable before they fall apart.

This is my second pair of Old Friend slippers. They are very high quality, shearling lined and a thick sole. I wore out my last pair after years of wearing them 2-8 hours a day (and I wear them outside some too). They are similar to Uggs, but they have a better base than Ugg slippers. But if you are a fan of uggs and quality is important to you, I highly recommend this brand.

Beautiful slippers and very well made, however, in our case we needed to order a size up. Size is usually men’s 12 wide and the size xl (12-13) was too short. Returned for the xxl wide (14-15) and they fit well.
