Good product spoiled by inadequate paperwork
I have yet to use the device on a long ride but here are a few notes on setting it up.Firstly the instructions are printed in a very small font - too small. There is a pdf on the internet - it says it is for a wired version but is in fact for this wireless model with only brief mention of the wired version. This pdf can be enlarged and printed. When the bike is stationary the display does not say 0 mph but reverts to average. This is confusing at first when you are setting up the computer off the bike, although it might be more useful when you are out and about. When setting up it is important, when pressing the setup button for 3s, that you are in the correct starting “Mode” else it will not present the correct items to set. There are two setup paths. When you are setting up there are many button presses to get through all the parameters needed, although many only need doing once and the main variables can easily be reset to zero by holding the left button for 3s.Holding the middle button for 5s turns on the light permanently and another 5s turns it back to automatic.Switching the display from km to miles is included in the general set up but the flashing “km” symbol telling you that you have reached the step to change the distance unit is tiny and easily skipped through. The best way to find the circumference of your front tyre is to roll the bike forwards and measure how far one turn takes it in cm. This is the number to enter into the set up. The figures in the chart on the instructions were wrong for our 20” bike.A brief press of the left button freezes the display and causes it to flash. If you are not expecting this during set up it can be confusing. Simply press the button again to exit freeze mode.As you see I got quite confused but I was trying to read the ridiculously small print on the enclosed instruction sheet.I’m only giving 3 stars until it is fully road tested and will update accordingly.Good luck setting it up - you really do need a magnifying glass or a 2-3x zoomed pdf printout.UPDATE. The bike computer has now been used on a lot of rides and my grandson has found it great fun. I am therefore increasing my star rating to 4*. Failure to achieve the full 5 is down to the difficult to understand instructions.

Kind of works
It is making a noise, like something loose is inside when shaken. The average speed is clearly off. I have maximum 99km/h LOL. I doubt I ever went faster than 25km/h. The light of the screen is not very useful either it switches off very quickly and it is not automatic that it would switch on in the dark while you are cycling. You need to press a button. It took awhile to set it up.Couldn't be bothered to sent it back.

Instructions too complicated
The print on the instructions was too small to read without difficulty, the installation instructions were over complicated & myself & my son could not set it up, we gave up & have bought another make with easier instructions.

Works well just what I needed. Install instructions not the best but easy enough to work out

Pony and trap
Very difficult to fit to my mountain bike difficult to set up and the magnet can't seem to get into range of the sensor.Rode home in the rain and it stopped working

Great summer cycling stats within a single device.
I liked it come with a one button remote control button. It was useful as it can be positioned nearer to the handlebar. The setup took longer than expected. Placing the sensor bar and magnet on wheel spoke was a lot of trial and error. This was expected but equally quite annoying at times. However, once setup, I saw the benefits. Stats like current speed, odometer, max speed, distance etc was great to seen on a small device. The display screen can be released and placed in pocket when bicycle is parked up. I tested this during summer time but certain it’s not water resistant.
