One of the finest pair of fishing sunglasses I've ever owned
I bought these sunglasses back in November of 2016. I have been extremely impressed by their consistent performance since the day I bought them. These have some of the best polarization I've ever seen. I have much more expensive fishing sunglasses that don't get the kind of water penetration that these do. They're extremely light weight and very comfortable. I wear them for 12 to 14 hours on days I fish and haven't had any rubbing or hot spots on my face for sides of my head or ears. They almost amplify light when looking into the water. My wife constantly calls dibs on these when we hit the stream. I also wear them for driving or general outdoor usage. I need to buy a case for them so they can last for years to come. I also like that you can remove the lenses easily from the frames so that both can be easily cleaned. All of this quality for less than $20. Who would've thought, right? I'll never buy fishing sunglasses in a box store again. I'll look to Flying Fisherman for my fishing optics first from now on.

My Favorite Fishing Glasses
What a difference these made in being able to see my Muskie follow-ups. They're great for driving too. Especially dawn, dusk, and partly cloudy, light rain conditions. Best blue blockers I've found, and the price is lower than any other glass I've found at this price point. So if you want to see how many fish you're not catching, these are for you! :)

Good, cheap, amber glasses.
I have a big head, and a lot of glasses feel tight at my temples. These do not. (I wear a 7 and 7/8 hat)Though I have never had amber lenses, these aren't too distracting. I normally buy darker glasses because I'm fairly photosensitive, but I've been riding my bike a lot and there are a lot of transitions from bright areas to places where there's a lot of shade on the local trails. These areas in the shade are too dark with the darker glasses, but fine with the amber. The only drawback is that they do feel a little flimsy. The lenses are anchored to the glasses only at the nose and the temple. The hang separated from the frame over the eyebrow. That may cause a problem, but for the price, they're easily replaceable.

Not as good as they used to be
I've been buying these sunglasses every few years since 2011 (13 years now!). I have to say, I do still like them; however, they quality is not quite what it used to be. The tip of the arms (the part that goes over your ears) will eventually snap on both sided because the very end of the arm hits the inside of the lens when the frame is folded. I'm ordering another pair now, not because of this broken issue. Overall, it's a great pair of sunglasses and the amber lenses are my favorite. If you are reading this Flying Fisherman - Fix the frame so the tips of the arms do not snap over time!!!

I am extremely delighted!
For a $20 pair of sunglasses, these sure get a lot of reviews. I received mine in the mail today and I am extremely delighted. They are by far the best sunglasses I have ever purchased at this price point. Mine came as shown in the picture. There was no case (I was not expecting one as I will be storing these in my car's sunglasses compartment). They fit comfortably. And the vents are a practical little touch that will come in handy in humid conditions. After reading many reviews I decided to get the Yellow-Amber. My fear was that this color would be too bright for sunlight conditions. But realizing that the polarizing nature of the lenses would only allow 50% of incident light through anyway (and block at least 50% of the glare, often much more due to the Brewster angle attenuation of the vertically polarized lenses), I am very pleased with my choice. To be fair they do seem significantly brighter than traditional sunglasses. It is the absence of the glare that makes them comfortable and ideal for driving (and fishing I suppose) under a wide range of lighting conditions. Contrasts are enhanced and makes discrimination of objects almost fun. These puppies are great!I notice the lenses could most likely be removed from the partial frame without much force (though they are well seated and firmly attached on my pair). I see this more as a feature than a flaw. Cleaning lenses near the frame has always been very difficult for me, perfectionist that I am. If the lenses detach easily and reattach as easily it would be a cinch to clean them and the frame. The plastic construction of the lenses and frame makes them corrosion resistant in rust belt areas and ideal for salt water fishing. I would not leave them lying around though, they have a stylish appeal and their attractive nature make them an object of desire.

Don't make the same mistake I did - These fell apart in 2 months
Yes. I read EVERY review. It's not like I didn't know I was taking a gamble. There were plenty of reviews from people trying to warn me. But, my thought process was one in which I convinced myself that those people were probably just rough with their glasses and didn't take proper care of them. I am the most cautious person on the planet when it comes to handling my sunglasses. I knew there was no way they would break under the proper care. Well, I unfortunately was wrong. The rubber piece on the middle part of the bridge in the front fell off while I was wearing these just walking around the yard. I didn't know it until the lenses started falling out. Without that rubber piece, there's no way for the lenses to stay in place. They just fall out. I never could find the rubber piece. I looked everywhere for it. I don't care how careful you are with these sunglasses, they are going to fall apart and it will not take long. I barely got 2 months out of them and I didn't even get to wear them that much. I always put them in a very safe place. They were never dropped. Never mishandled. Handled with extreme care. Yes, the lenses were incredible. I loved them while they lasted, but I can't pay close to $20 for a pair of sunglasses that I have to replace every 2 months. I might as well invest in a more expensive pair of sunglasses that will last for years. I urge you not to ignore the negative reviews. They are spot on. You will not get much wear out of these. Not worth $5 in my opinion.

Decent
Got these for my stepdad for Christmas and he's a truck driver, tried them on, they minimize a bit of the glare but could do better and feel pretty cheaply made, so handle them with care. Otherwise it shipped fast and got it instantly, no scratches. does come in a hard plastic ziploc bag though.
