Bodyprox Hinged Knee Brace for Men and Women, Knee Support for Swollen ACL, Tendon, Ligament and Meniscus Injuries

I bought two of these Bodyprox hinged knee braces 2.5 years ago. I loved them right from the start. My knees are a little janky and need that support - especially on the sides while I'm working out. My current pair is still useable but after wearing them for intense legs days, twice weekly for 30 months, the straps have gotten a little stretched out and the hook & loop is less grippy in some places. This purchase is more about treating myself than actually needing to replace them. I could probably get another year out of them but will donate them instead. These are so good for my knees in all aspects. The side to side stability is great, the padded patella ring is essential for being on all fours (no more kneeling on "gravel"), the ability to adjust the fit in multiple areas, they don’t bunch behind my knees… all of that makes these a really good choice. I do wear them on top of my leggings so I have no rubbing issues.

Good quality and design. Open behind and in front of the kneecap which is a must. Not as long as many braces yet provides excellent support.

I've spent a good amount of time in this brace since I bought it a few months ago, and so far, I really like it overall. It gives the stability I need, and bends in all the right ways. It has minimal rub or pinching issues, which are fixed with slight adjustments. However, when I bought the brace, one of the hinges was bent inwards somewhat, which was causing pain and pressure on the inside of my knee. I was able to bend it back into position by just pulling on it, and it's stayed in place since. My main issue with this brace is the how quickly the inner most velcro flaps seems to be giving up. Luckily, the outer straps are doing well, and keep everything together. After wearing this brace nearly every day for the last month, there are holes starting on the fabric covering the hinges, but I can't say I'm surprised. Decent comfort and stability/support, and as someone with sensitive skin and hypermobile joints, wearing over pants has been a great fit (just wish this came in XS!)

Size small. FANTASTIC BRACE! The adjustability of this brace is amazing. Able to get just the right fit. Easy to adjust with secure Velcro. VERY INTELLIGENT DESIGN. After you wrap it around your leg, you fine tune the adjustment in the front and in the back. Provides support while still being comfortable. I've had other knee braces and this one is by far the best! Highly recommend for this level of brace.

I like most things about this brace; I like the fit and the support it provides. I followed the sizing guidelines and ordered the small. I'm short with slightly stout legs for my height and the overall length fit is good for my size. Some others I've tried are too long and the metal braces press into my calf muscle. The one negative I have is with the hook & loop on the top and bottom flaps -- the abrasive hook fabric if facing toward the skin. No matter how I close the flaps some of the hook fabric rubs the backs of my legs. The discomfort from the abrasion gets worse with time wearing the brace. I suspect this might not be an issue for slender legs. I don't see why the hook and loop fabrics cannot be reversed so that the softer loop fabric is in contact against the soft skin at back of legs.

Waiting for ACL surgery and needed a brace to help me hobble along until then. I borrowed one from a friend and it was a bit clunky. After reading some reviews I picked this one. Some reviewers said it was difficult to put it on. After figuring out which way is up(the side with longer wrap around velcro) I didn't have any trouble getting on or off. I was on edge of small/medium and took advice to go smaller, which was a good call. Gives good stability for walking or going up stairs. Feels pretty solid and fits well. Over clothes is better as the straps rub a little when put directly on knee. can probably wear another knee sleeve or my friend suggested using a bandana to cover the areas where it's rubbing. That is the only con I can find. Only had a few days so can't speak to the durability but so far so good. At this price point it was a bargain.

Best knee brace seriously

I have been using this brace for over 3 years...the betst i've found for the price....i've been waiting for knee surgery for over 3 years with covid it hasn't help and my age either grrrr!! this brace helps me work"post office so i carry heavy packages" and walk a mile since i don't have a liscence so i have to walk or weather permitting bike home. I just bought a new one cause of course after a while the velcros don't hold as well but this new one sure is improved and the lastics and velcros are the BEST!! I do recomend this product!!

Erster Eindruck ist sehr gut! Die Schiene lässt sich gut individuell einstellen und gibt ein sicheres Gefühl ohne viel einzuschränken (ich laufe damit jedoch nur wegen einer OP, beim Sport hab ich keine Ahnung). Ich habe mich für eine kleine Größe entschieden, weil ich in den Rezensionen gelesen habe das Produkt fiele eher klein aus - kann ich so aber nicht bestätigen!! Ohne die Stäbe geht es, aber ansonsten hätte ich dich lieber eine Größe größer genommen (liegen von den maßen ganz knapp bei M und habe S genommen).

Great support for unstable, hypermobile knees. Now I can do more, and better strength training. Doesn't slip down and allows enough knee flexibility for my needs (walking)
