When I tried to get it to start any of the 3-5 cleaning modes, via app, remote or top button, it just backed up around 2 ft and stopped. This was on a bare, hardwood floor with no obstructions. It never moves forward more than a couple of feet. No cleaning, mapping, return to home, nothing. Junk. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good for hard surface but not carpet. *by O***A on Reviewed in the United States on July 25, 2020* Very good vacuum for hard surface floors. But it does not work at all on carpets. One of the images says “hardwood floors and carpet”...that’s not true. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best investment in my home *by T***E on Reviewed in the United States on March 11, 2020* I actually have Google Hub in my house and it was very easy to integrate this vacuum into my smart home. I'm very happy with this little guy :) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/147777332-makimoo-hogo-t500-robot-vacuum-1800pa-strong-suction-wi-fi](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/147777332-makimoo-hogo-t500-robot-vacuum-1800pa-strong-suction-wi-fi) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-11-05*
