The skates look sharp right out of the box and feel very well-made. The stainless steel blades arrived nicely finished, with a removable protective cover that has come in handy. He says the boots feel sturdy and supportive around the foot and ankle without being overly stiff. They fit perfectly out of the box (true to size, as we purchased a size 10, which is his usual shoe size). He also says they’re comfortable during longer skating sessions, which I assume is due to the padding and the secure ankle strap (makes putting them on so much less tedious). They have excellent ankle support and stability, making them perfect for both casual skating and beginner practice sessions! Overall, these skates exceeded our expectations for the price. Great design, solid construction, and lasting comfort. Highly recommend to anyone looking for beginner-friendly, reliable, hockey-style ice skates!
