Silver Black Lining, UV Block Cooling Umbrella, Windproof Vented for Sun & Rain

I was using a regular umbrella for walking my dog in the hot summer sun. I thought all umbrellas was the same. I seen this on Amazon as a UV blocker and decided to buy it on a whim. And boy am I glad I did. This umbrella not only made it cooler for me, it made it easier to hold onto when a gust of wind came blowing by. This umbrella has a neat feature of letting the air blow out the covered vents at the top of the umbrella. It is a neat design that allows it to also work in the rain. So its just not a good sun blocker. It is a good rain blocker too.

I liked this seemingly durable umbrella while it lasted. I liked that I could use it for both sun & rain protection. It’s not compact, but I was not expecting that. I wanted a full size umbrella & this was a nice size. The only problem is that it ended up turning inside out in the wind. I’ve yet to find an umbrella that does not do that. Even ones that advertise they won’t!

I love this Sun Block UV Umbrella! It works great! It's really big and that gives nice shade. It's works great in the rain which I used it first for rain while on vacation. The silver is an eye catcher. I just started using it for hot sun in Texas. The umbrella fits easily in the sling cover and I wear it on my shoulder when I go in a store. The rib frame is not sharp so my fingers will not get cut, that's why I chose this umbrella. When you get a cheapo umbrella the ribs are sharp and you can cut your finger when you try to close the umbrella. The sun is so hot so it's worth carrying around the umbrella when you go to the store. Big enough for 2 people. Wind vent helps too! I give 4 stars because it does not have a hook handle. I prefer a hook handle so I can place it over a chair or shopping cart.

the product has a blue lining instead of black which is not as good. I returned it. The black and silver is MUCH better at blocking the sun. I have had 4 of these and love the black and silver

School teacher who has morning and afternoon parking lot duty in the 100* Miami sun. This umbrella is a godsend! You can feel the difference immediately. It sucks the heat right up, and is not too big and cumbersome. The carry case with shoulder strap makes it easy to transport with 20 little humans in tow. It's wind resistant, and probably good for rain too, but I haven't tested that out. Purchased mainly to be a Sunbrella.

At first delighted but after only a few uses, no high winds or abuse, I noticed two of the interior spines were broken. Still within return period and did so out of concern that more would break or integrity too compromised to last.

This umbrella is reasonable for the price, and should provide some relief from the heat. I've owned the gust buster - coolabar brand which is of much higher quality - cost nearly twice as much. The coating looks pretty thin. Be aware that the dimensions listed are not the width of the open umbrella, which is why I returned mine. It's only 43" wide. I should have noticed that it says "from the center top of umbrella" - my bad. Most of them don't indicate how they are being measured, so I reordered a much larger one, hopping it is measured the same way.

YESSS!!! This umbrella serves its purpose very well. If I don't need to where sun block with all sorts of harmful chemicals this umbrella is everything! I use it almost everyday in summer and so far my second summer. Still functions like new. Love my sunBrella to protect from UV showers!
