Boreal Design Kasko PE Rudder Touring Kayak, White/Blue

I've had this boat for almost 3 years and love it. I've taken it through deception pass multiple times, had it in 3 ft rollers, taken it kayak camping, and had it all through smaller waters where manuevering is tight. It has performed beautifully in every scenario. I have paddled several other boats, Necky Manitou, Prijon Barricuda and Seayak, a couple others whose make and model I didn't bother remembering because they were not memorable. The Kasko is my go to boat for day trips or just leisurely tooling around in the sloughs. It is stable enough for a beginner but also has plenty excitment for a more intermediate paddler. I can keep up with longer boats with little effort and have not maxed out the volume on extended trips (yet). For very long extended excursions, or big seas, I would probably opt for a longer boat. For any afternoon or short 3 day trip this is the first one I reach for. The front hatch does leak a little when the bigger waves splash down onto the boat. I've never had a drop get in the rear hatch though. I would probably change the seat back because even though it is comfortable, it has a tendency to fall onto to seat when entering, but that is an easy fix. Adding a tether to old it up is all you need to do. I haven't done it because I have learned to live with it.
