Review: Comfortable ankle support (not fully rigid), easily fits in shoe. Adds stability and compression. - I will start off with - I really like this ankle support for my sprained ankle. I sprained my ankle jumping out of the back of our truck onto unstable ground wearing rubber boots, yah, I should know better... It popped pretty loud and instantly swelled on the outer ankle bone, so I hobbled inside, put ice on it, and hit chatGPT to learn what to look for and best practices for managing it. One of the suggests was this specific brace. After reading the description and reviews and comparing it with a handful of others, this did look like a good option. I ordered it for arrival the next day and kept off the foot for the first two days. On day two, swelling had spread and bruising set in. After reading the reviews and product description, I was a little unsure if this brace was going to have the quick laces, or traditional laces; I am very pleased that it has the quick laces where I have two pull tabs that velcro down to tighten the shoe strings. This greatly adds to a quick on and off, and comfort as there is a strap that goes over all of this as well so no shoe string knot is a bonus. This brace loosens up quite a bit and is easy to put on, even easy to get over my trashed foot without disturbing it. snugging it up feels good, it applies a fairly even compression which is good. I guess I lucked out considering how bad I popped my ankle, on day 3 I was back to work and on my feet about half the day. I wore this throughout the whole day without any comfort issues. At the end of the day when I remove it, my lower leg is a little deformed from the straps and compression, and being on my feet all day, but no issue, this goes away after getting off my feet and relaxing. NOTE- this is not a fully rigid brace like a boot, you could still roll your ankle again with this on. I would describe the roll support like a really good pair of high top boots that are laced up, or maybe even a little better. I was a little nervous at first since my ankle was a mess, but I took it easy and didn't have any issues. If you need to fully stabilize and immobilize your ankle from any twisting, you probably need a rigid boot, not this brace. I can also still bend my ankle forward/backward fairly well with this brace on, it does restrict movement some, like driving a car with this on your right foot is do-able but a little weird. Again, this is not an immobilizer. Despite my picture, I wear a sock under the brace and would recommend doing the same. Summary, this is an easy to wear, comfortable stability and compression brace that has been very helpful for my severe sprain. It was worth every penny and more.
Review: Good economical ankle brace that works - Very good brace. I had gotten one recommended by a therapist which hurt my foot. I finally decided to purchase online. The video helped to watch lacing it up. Comfort and stability; fits well in my shoe. Good price and well made. Compression seems to be just enough.

A: I'd say go smaller. I was right in between M and L and went with the M which fits perfectly.

**Q: is therca siz chart somewhere?**
A: Good Morning,Yes, you can find the sizing chart in the right hand corner of the product. There are three square images and one contains the sizing chart.Advanced Sports Medicine

**Q: Is this the same brace for the right and left foot?**
A: ASO ankle braces are made for either foot. There are no left or right. Thanks

**Q: Can you fit this into a shoe?**
A: Yes, very easily. Even with strapping it fits into a shoe. The only exception is if the shoe is very snug before brace then it would be a really tight fit. I wear my own in tennis shoes with no issue.
